Federación Argentina de Empresas de Viajes y Turismo amenazó con iniciar acciones legales a las empresas aéreas si éstas no reintegran el pago de comisiones

El presidente de la Federación Argentina de Empresas de Viajes y Turismo (Faevyt), Fabricio Di Giambattista, anunció que esta entidad iniciará acciones judiciales a las compañías aéreas que dejaron de pagar comisiones a las agencias emisoras de pasajes, si no revén su decisión.

En el marco del Congreso de Faevyt en Catamarca, el empresario explicó que «si bien en algunos países existe comisión cero, lo que nosotros decimos es que cero sólo funciona en países con otras economías y otras cargas impositivas» y remarcó que «en la región no existe comisión cero, en el único lugar que se propició fue acá, en Argentina».

Para Di Giambattista, la situación «genera una imposibilidad de competencia de muchas agencias que no pueden ofrecer pasajes, porque no se puede trabajar a pérdida», y consideró que la decisión de las aerolíneas afecta a las agencias de viajes más chicas al «cercenarle ventas».

«Al no poder ofrecer un producto turístico tienen menos posibilidades de vender y van a tener que suplir los servicios aerocomerciales», aseguró, y precisó que «esa es nuestra demanda, nuestro reclamo; si hubiese posibilidades de reverlo estaría buenísimo y, si no, seguiremos con la demanda».

El puntapié inicial sobre la negativa de pagar comisiones a las agencias de viajes fue dado por Aerolíneas Argentinas, a la que siguieron Gol, Aeroméxico, Latam y Copa, por lo que la Faevyt tomó la decisión de iniciar acciones legales contra estas compañías. «Si no hay posibilidad de rever esa medida, alguien tendrá que ver si legalmente existe esa posibilidad concreta de que trabajemos a remuneración cero», sentenció Di Giambattista.
