La Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) aprobó una modificación del acuerdo de códigos compartidos que firmaron el año pasado entre Aerolíneas Argentinas y Etihad Airways, una de las compañías de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, mediante el cual pasajeros de ambas empresas aéreas pueden utilizar los servicios de forma indistinta.

La modificación permitirá ahora a los pasajeros de Aerolíneas Argentinas tener una conexión directa con Medio Oriente y de allí con el resto del mundo a través de tres puntos: Madrid, Roma y San Pablo.

En marzo del año pasado, Aerolíneas y Etihad firmaron un acuerdo mediante el cual los pasajeros de Aerolíneas podían volar directamente a Abu Dhabi desde San Pablo y desde allí a cualquier destino operado por la compañía árabe, adquiriendo los boletos a través de la línea de bandera y sumando millas para su programa de pasajero frecuente.

La empresa de Medio Oriente podía comercializar los vuelos de Aerolíneas, tanto en los destinos de cabotaje como en los regionales. Posteriormente, en marzo de este año y con la suspensión de los vuelos de Etihad a San Pablo, ambas empresas modificaron el acuerdo y tomaron como base la ciudad de Madrid como punto de transferencia de los pasajeros. Con la modificación de este acuerdo impulsa que los usuarios de Etihad podrán utilizar todos los vuelos operados por Aerolíneas Argentinas, tanto de cabotaje como regionales e internacionales, a todos los destinos que opera la compañía de bandera. De la misma manera y con la posibilidad del restablecimiento de los vuelos de Etihad a San Pablo, los pasajeros de Aerolíneas podrán usar los servicios de la firma asiática para las rutas de San Pablo-Abu Dhabi, Madrid-Abu Dhabi, a lo que ahora se agrega Roma-Abu Dhabi.

La ANAC detalló en la resolución publicada en el Boletín Oficial, que para toda operación de servicios que se realicen en las modalidades establecidas, los explotadores y sus agentes autorizados deberán informar al público usuario con total transparencia quién será el transportador, el tipo de aeronave utilizada en cada etapa del servicio, los puntos de transferencia y toda otra información relevante sobre las características del servicio.

Las empresas operarán sus servicios de conformidad con las autorizaciones, las designaciones y las asignaciones de frecuencias efectuadas por los Gobiernos y con estricta sujeción a lo acordado en el marco bilateral aplicable en materia de transporte aéreo, así como a las leyes y demás normas nacionales e internacionales vigentes y a las condiciones de reciprocidad de tratamiento por parte de las Autoridades de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, para con las empresas de bandera argentina que soliciten similares servicios.  

ANAC Argentina approves modification of Aerolíneas-Etihad Airways agreement

The National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) approved a modification of the codeshare agreement signed last year between Aerolíneas Argentinas and Etihad Airways, one of the companies in the United Arab Emirates, through which passengers from both airlines can use the Services.
