A la espera de la aprobación de la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC), Flybondi está considerando armar el equipo

En la compañía todavía no han dado detalles, prefieren esperar a la aprobación del Boletín Oficial para luego realizar confirmaciones. Lo cierto es que Flybondi ya comenzó a armar su flota de aviones para comenzar a operar como aerolínea low cost en la Argentina.

Flybondi Líneas Aéreas fue fundada en el 2016 bajo la dirección del CEO Julián Cook. Es una aerolínea de origen argentino que en los próximos cinco años buscará duplicar el mercado aerocomercial y transportar 10 millones de pasajeros con los precios más bajos del mercado. Dentro de este plan, generará 1500 nuevos empleos directos y unos 20.000 indirectos. Dentro de sus inversores, Flybondi cuenta con un grupo de ejecutivos de larga trayectoria en el rubro aerocomercial; entre ellos, Mike Powell, ex CEO de Wizzair; Montie Brewer, ex CEO de Air Canada; Michael Cawley, ex CEO Ryanair, y Robert Wright, ex Flybaboo & Wizzair.

La compañía informó que concretó la firma del primer acuerdo de leasing de la aerolínea Air Berlin de un Boeing 737-800 que estará llegando al país en los próximos meses. Además, Flybondi realizará otros contratos con el objetivo de contar con al menos 10 aviones para fines de 2018. En la parte de Recursos Humanos, está planificando la contratación de 30 pilotos y de 100 tripulantes de cabina para el proceso de capacitación en la empresa. Sobre la contratación de los pilotos, Julián Cook, el suizo a cargo de la empresa, destacó: «Ya estamos conformando el plantel de pilotos para comenzar nuestras operaciones en los próximos meses. Estamos entusiasmados porque recibimos muchísimos curriculums y pudimos hacer una gran selección». Las nuevas contrataciones se sumarán al plantel de 25 personas que ya trabajan en sus nuevas oficinas y según se entiende, los primeros vuelos llegarán a fines de este año.
