Anunciaron el vuelo directo de Mendoza a la Ciudad de Panamá

Esta nueva ruta aérea comenzará a operar el 16 de noviembre y estará a cargo de la empresa Copa Airlines. Tendrá cuatro frecuencias semanales

El Gobierno de Mendoza junto al Ejecutivo nacional y la empresa Copa Airlines (subsidiaria de Copa Holdings, S.A., y miembro de la red global de aerolíneas Star Alliance) anunció este lunes su nueva ruta directa entre Mendoza y la Ciudad de Panamá.

El vuelo inaugural partirá el próximo 16 de noviembre de 2017 desde el Aeropuerto Internacional El Plumerillo de Mendoza a las 01:34 horas, arribando al Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen de Panamá a las 06:30 horas. La ruta comenzará con 4 frecuencias semanales que fortalecerán la conectividad de la provincia y del país con el resto del continente e incrementando la operación de la Aerolínea, según información brindada por la empresa.

«Con la apertura de la ruta de Mendoza, iniciamos un nuevo capítulo en la conectividad de la Argentina con las Américas. Ofreciendo desde hace 18 años servicios en nuestro país, conectamos a Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario y ahora Mendoza con el resto del continente, aportando cuatro puertas de entrada para el turismo, el desarrollo económico y la generación de empleo en el país. Desde hace muchos años, los mendocinos vuelan por Copa Airlines a sus destinos preferidos del Norte, Centroamérica y Caribe y, con este nuevo vuelo, podrán hacerlo de manera más fácil desde el Aeropuerto El Plumerillo de Mendoza», expresó Gustavo Esusy, Gerente Regional Mercosur de Copa Airlines.

Esusy destacó que «Mendoza es una de las provincias con mayores y diversos atractivos turísticos de Argentina a lo largo de todo el año, abriendo un abanico de oportunidades turísticas para los visitantes. Gracias al comienzo de esta nueva ruta, todo el continente americano podrá visitarnos, potenciando la industria turística y la economía regional».

«Celebramos desde todo el sector turístico argentino, la posibilidad de conectarnos con el resto del mundo. Mendoza se suma a la conectividad total que Copa Airlines tiene en nuestro país. Vuelos directos con Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba y Mendoza permiten a los turistas llegar a la Argentina de modo directo sin la necesidad de pasar por la capital del país, consolidando la visión federal que tenemos desde el turismo como actividad productiva», expresó Gustavo Santos, Ministro de Turismo de La Nación.

El gobernador Alfredo Cornejo recordó que «en el marco del Plan Aerocomercial Nacional, desde el Gobierno de Mendoza hicimos gestiones directas para lograr esta conexión». El mandatario destacó la importancia del tan esperado vuelo: «Una mayor conectividad internacional tiene el poder de dinamizar la economía local en plazos breves, facilita la instalación de nuevas inversiones, favorece el intercambio comercial general y la internacionalización de las empresas locales y es determinante en materia turística».

Por su parte, la presidente del Ente Mendoza Turismo, Gabriela Testa, señaló que «el aeropuerto internacional de Panamá es un nodo de conexiones que permitirá que turistas de todo el mundo lo utilicen para llegar a Mendoza y también para que los mendocinos puedan viajar hacia distintas partes del globo. Desde ahora los pasajeros tendrán más posibilidades de conectividad y otros beneficios fundamentales ya que más oferta significa más competencia y esto, mejores precios para los viajeros». Y agregó: «Copa viene a ponerle un broche de oro a la oportunidad que implican los mercados de América del Norte para Mendoza, luego de que mejoraran las relaciones internacionales de nuestro país con el mundo».

A través del Hub de las Américas, el centro de conexiones aéreas con más destinos internacionales en América Latina, los pasajeros mendocinos podrán acceder a una extensa red de conexiones a nivel global, principalmente con las 13 ciudades que opera la aerolínea en Estados Unidos, las 4 en México, las 2 en Canadá y las 25 ciudades principales de Centro América y el Caribe.
