Airbus Group ha lanzado la nueva variante del A350, el A350-900ULR (Ultra Long Range) de ultra largo alcance.

Airbus ha lanzado el primer Airbus A350-900ULR (Ultra Long Range) fuera del salón de actos. Según el fabricante de la aeronave, la aeronave ofrece un rango de vuelo mayor que cualquier avión de pasajeros.

El plan para privatizar el Control del Tráfico Aéreo de los Estados Unidos no tiene apoyo del Congreso

El presidente del Comité de Infraestructura y Transporte de la Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos dijo el martes que no hay suficiente apoyo en el Congreso para avanzar con un plan respaldado por el presidente Donald Trump para privatizar el Sistema de Control de Tráfico Aéreo (ATC).

En la arena política está muy reñida la discusión sobre la reforma del control del espacio aéreo de Estados Unidos. El Partido político de los Demócratas sostenían que entregaría el control de un activo clave a intereses especiales y grandes aerolíneas, y algunos Republicanos se opusieron.

El representante republicano Bill Shuster dijo en un comunicado que «las disposiciones de la reforma del control del tráfico aéreo no alcanzaron el nivel obvio de apoyo necesario para aprobar el Congreso». The plan to privatize the Air Traffic Control of the United States has no support from Congress

The chairman of the Infrastructure and Transportation Committee of the US House of Representatives said on Tuesday that there is not enough support in Congress to move forward with a plan endorsed by President Donald Trump to privatize the Air Traffic Control System (ATC).

In the political arena, the debate over the reform of airspace control in the United States is very close. The Democratic Party of the Democrats argued that it would hand over control of a key asset to special interests and large airlines, and some Republicans opposed it.

Republican Representative Bill Shuster said in a statement that «the provisions of the air traffic control reform did not reach the obvious level of support needed to pass Congress». United Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines and Southwest Airlines, all represented by the Airlines for America lobby, backed the plan.

Opponents said the US system is so large that privatization would not save money and raise ticket costs and could create a national security risk.
