Arriba el turista internacional un millón a la isla caribeña

Cuba a celebrado al millón de visitantes internacionales en momentos en que la industria turística nacional está inmersa en un amplio proceso inversionista.

El destino Cuba recibe un millón de visitantes internacionales. Estos resultados se obtienen a partir del esfuerzo conjunto de todos los organismos del gobierno y el Estado que intervienen en la actividad turística, informó Janet Ayala, Directora de Comunicación del Ministerio de Turismo (Mintur).

Los trabajadores del sector y particularmente las mujeres constituyen el principal activo de estos resultados. La isla sigue por estos días inmersa en la temporada alta del turismo. La República de Cuba posee alrededor de 67.000 habitaciones hoteleras y más de 21.000 habitaciones en alojamientos familiares.

A Cuba arriban 68 líneas aéreas que enlazan con 70 ciudades importantes en la red de destinos en el mundo. El plan de inversiones para 2030 completan las expectativas de quienes tienen puestos los ojos en el turismo cubano y su espiral creciente, opinan especialistas.
