El Plan de Obras contempla un nuevo edificio para las operaciones internacionales
Las obras del Plan Integral de Infraestructura que lleva adelante el Aeropuerto Internacional de Rosario están destinadas a concretar una ambiciosa expansión de la terminal aérea a partir del incremento de la oferta aerocomercial de los últimos años.
Etapas Obras
La programación de las obras que comenzaron en una primera etapa en Noviembre 2018 contempla la construcción de un nuevo sector de más de 11.500 m² para la atención de vuelos internacionales con una demanda de 1.500.000 de pasajeros. Tras la finalización en su totalidad el nuevo edificio contará con una superficie total de 30.000 m² aumentando las capacidades de tráfico de pasajeros, pudiendo manejar unos 3.000.000 de pasajeros anuales.
Las obras edilicias y la infraestructura deberían comenzar pronto para beneficiar a los pasajeros que podrán ingresar/egresar de las aeronaves por medio de mangas telescópicas aeroportuarias a través de tres puentes que permitirán efectuar embarques y arribos simultáneos, flexibilizando la operatoria y flujo de los pasajeros.
Otras de las remodelaciones son el sector sur del Paseo Comercial y las salas para la atención de los vuelos nacionales. La sala de embarque cabotaje aumentará su capacidad, ya que contará con 837 m2 e incorporará un nuevo bar y sala vip. En cuanto a la sala de arribos, tendrá 682 m2 y sumará una nueva cinta de equipajes para la atención simultánea de vuelos.
La firma Amae ha inaugurado la sala Vip en el mes de Junio 2019. Dispone de un espacio de 100 m2 para el uso exclusivo de hasta 50 pasajeros. Quienes accedan a esta sala podrán disfrutar de una variada propuesta gastronómica junto con una diversidad de espacios y tecnología, tanto para trabajar en forma más confortable o relajarse previo al embarque de la aeronave.
Adquisición Sistema ALS
El pasado Jueves 8 Agosto 2019 se firmó el contrato de adjudicación para la adquisición e instalación de un Sistema de Aproximación de Luces Categoría III (Cat-III). Esta tecnología tendrá un impacto significativo para Rosario y la región, dado que permitirá mejorar los mínimos de visibilidad para efectuar un mayor número de operaciones en condiciones meteorológicas desfavorables.
Planta abastecimiento Combustible
Las obras para la nueva Planta de Abastecimiento de combustible que se inició en el 4Q2019 tiene como principal objetivo la construcción de una nueva planta de combustible con el fin de aumentar la capacidad de abastecimiento del Aeropuerto Rosario. Inicialmente, la capacidad de almacenamiento se elevará a 75 m3 de combustible para aviación, estando previsto que el almacenaje sea escalable conforme al aumento de la demanda.

The works of the Comprehensive Infrastructure Plan carried out by the Rosario International Airport are intended to realize an ambitious expansion of the air terminal based on the increase in the commercial supply of recent years.
Stages Works
The programming of the works that began in the first stage in November 2018 includes the construction of a new sector of more than 11,500 m² for the attention of international flights with a demand of 1,500,000 passengers. After the completion in its entirety, the new building will have a total area of 30,000 m², increasing passenger traffic capacities, being able to handle about 3,000,000 annual passengers.

Another remodeling is the southern sector of the Commercial Walk and the rooms for the attention of national flights. The cabotage boarding hall will increase its capacity since it will have 837 m2 and will incorporate a new bar and VIP lounge. As for the Arrivals Hall, it will have 682 m2 and will add a new baggage belt for simultaneous flight attention.
The firm Amae has inaugurated the VIP lounge in the month of June 2019. It has a space of 100 m2 for the exclusive use of up to 50 passengers. Those who access this room can enjoy a varied gastronomic proposal along with a variety of spaces and technology, both to work more comfortably or relax before boarding the aircraft.
Acquisition ALS System
Last Thursday, August 8, 2019, the awarded contract was signed for the acquisition and installation of a Category III Light Approach System (Cat-III). This technology will have a significant impact on Rosario and the region, given that it will improve visibility minimums to carry out a greater number of operations in unfavorable weather conditions.
Fuel supply plant
The work for the new Fuel Supply Plant that began in 4Q2019 has as its main objective the construction of a new fuel plant in order to increase the supply capacity of Rosario Airport.
