MHI Aero Engines realiza el primer ensamblaje y envío del motor Pratt & Whitney GTF PW1200G a nivel nacional

(MHI), has completed its assembly and the first shipment of a Pratt & Whitney GTF PW1200G at the MHIAEL facilities in Komaki, Japan. The engine was shipped on November 13, 2019, to the Moses Lake Flight Test Center (MLFC) of Mitsubishi Aircraft in Moses Lake, Washington, United States. It will then be installed to support the ongoing aircraft tests of the SpaceJet regional passenger aircraft that Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation is developing. El transporte muiltimodal BelugaXL obtiene certificación EASA

El BelugaXL recibió su Certificación de tipo de la Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aérea (AESA) allanando el camino para la entrada en servicio a principios de 2020. The BelugaXL received its Type Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) paving the way for entry into service in early 2020. The aircraft is an integral part of the Airbus industrial system and a key enabler for the augmentation requirements of production beyond 2019. The BelugaXL allows an additional transport capacity of 30%, 7 meters longer and 1 meter wider than its predecessor BelugaST. With the largest cross-section of the cargo bay of all existing cargo aircraft worldwide, the BelugaXL can carry two A350 XWB wings compared to the BelugaST, which can only carry one. With a maximum payload of 51 tons, the BelugaXL has a range of 4,000 km (2200 nm).

The plane gets its seal of approval after an intense flight test campaign that saw BelugaXL complete more than 200 flight tests, recording more than 700 flight hours. In total, six aircraft will be built between 2019 and 2023, gradually replacing the current BelugaST conveyor fleet.
