Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery cierra por obras mantenimiento
El Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery cierra sus operaciones aéreas a partir de este Sábado 1 Agosto 2020 para preparar el comienzo de las obras de modernización en la pista y en el sector de la terminal en el que operarán los vuelos regionales, informaron fuentes de la concesionaria, Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 (AA2000). Las obras tendrán una duración de entre cuatro a cinco meses, y serán financiadas por el Fideicomiso de Fortalecimiento del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos que administra el Ministerio de Transporte y ejecuta el Organismo Regulador del Sistema Nacional de Aeropuertos (ORSNA), en tanto que Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 será el encargado de concretarlas.
Migración Ops
Las líneas aéreas que actualmente tenían operaciones anteriores a la pandemia en Aeroparque trasladarán sus operaciones al Aeropuerto Internacional Ezeiza ante una eventual reanudación de los servicios aéreos en las próximas semanas a partir del 1 Septiembre 2020, éstos estarán centralizados en esa estación aérea hasta tanto Aeroparque vuelva a estar en condiciones de operar hacia el 1 Diciembre 2020.
Obras en Aeroparque
Los trabajos consisten en el agregado de 615 metros de pista y 20 de ancho, lo que permitirá optimizar las operaciones regionales y mejorar la seguridad y la conectividad con el exterior, por lo que la pista pasará de los 2.100 metros actuales de largo y 40 de ancho, a 2.715 de largo con un ancho de 60 metros. Estas remodelaciones permitirán aumentar la categoría del aeropuerto y posibilitará las operaciones de aeronaves de mayor porte, como los Boeing 787 y los Airbus 330. También se ampliará el sector de arribos y partidas internacionales en la terminal de pasajeros, y se instalará un nuevo sistema de balizamiento que fortalecerá la seguridad operacional en los despegues y aterrizajes.
