El Presidente de la Región de Île-de-France, Valérie Pécresse, cree que es necesario «tomarse el tiempo para repensar el mundo de la aviación del mañana. Il estime que la période de crise actuelle doit permettre à tous les acteurs du projet de se rencontrer afin d’établir la feuille de route pour un transport aérien qui concilie compétitivité et respect de l’environnement, toutes les liaisons doivent être étudiées.

Latam Airlines Group anuncia despidos por 2700 trabajadores

Latam Airlines Group, el grupo de aviación más grande de América Latina, ha anunciado el Viernes 31/07 el despido de 2.700 agentes de tripulación. Estas medidas apuntan a reducir los efectos devastadores de la crisis generada por la pandemia. Los despidos representan más de la tercera parte del personal total de la empresa en su conjunto.

La aerolínea dijo que no había logrado alcanzar un acuerdo con el sindicato de trabajadores de la aviación para reducir los salarios, por lo cual despedirá a pilotos y azafatas para equilibrar el pasivo generado por la prohibición de volar. “La pandemia de Coronavirus es la mayor crisis de salud pública en la historia, y afecta dramáticamente a la industria mundial de la aviación”, señaló Latam Airlines Group en un comunicado.

La compañía ofrecerá un plan de salida voluntaria hasta el Martes 04/08, y luego comenzará a despedir gente si es necesario completar el cupo. Los sueldos que ofrece Latam Airlines a sus tripulaciones representan los más altos en promedio de la región, por lo que la aerolínea necesitará reducir los costos salariales frente a la crisis del sector.
