China Southern desecha vuelos programados de Boeing 737 MAX

Tras dos semanas de anticipación del retorno del Boeing 737 MAX a las rutas en la República de China, la aerolínea China Southern Airlines ha decidido cancelar la programación del inicio de operaciones. La decisión de cancelar también ocurrió el día de los vuelos, lo que plantea serias dudas acerca de la fiabilidad del producto en el país.

China Southern Airlines tenía programados inicialmente vuelos domésticos con el Boeing 737-8 MAX entre ellos desde Baiyun-Guangzhou/CAN por primera vez en más de tres años. La aeronave debía despegar a las 12:25 como vuelo CZ-3960 para aterrizar en el Aeropuerto Internacional Xinzheng/CGO de Zhengzhou a las 14:55 programado para el 30 de Octubre de 2022. También se programó un segundo vuelo para el tipo de avión, que operaría como CZ-8724, saliendo de Guangzhou/CAN a las 13:00 y llegando al Aeropuerto Internacional Tianhe/WUH de Wuhan aproximadamente a las 15:00 hs programado para despegar el 30/10 para retornar al día siguiente como vuelos CZ-8727. Las cancelaciones de todos los vuelos no han sido reemplazadas por otro tipo de aviones.

La compañía China Southern Airlines es el mayor operador aéreo de la línea Boeing 737 MAX, lo que supone un verdadero desafío para el retorno del tipo de aeronave a la aviación propiamente china. La aerolínea no se ha pronunciado acerca de las cancelaciones de los vuelos, pero una línea de razonamientos podría suponer que se trataría del acercamiento de la inauguración de los vuelos de la aeronave de cosecha propia el COMAC C919 programado para su primera entrega oficial en Noviembre 2022.
