Aerolíneas estadounidenses fortalecen conexión con Argentina

Delta Air Lines presentó una solicitud oficial al Departamento de Transporte de los Estados Unidos (DOT), para operar un vuelo diario y directo entre Nueva York y Buenos Aires. Esta solicitud confirma el interés de la aerolínea para reforzar sus operaciones con Argentina ampliando las conexiones con nuevas rutas a la existente que conecta Atlanta/ATL—Buenos Aires/EZE.

La aerolínea con sede en Atlanta, Georgia (GA), Estados Unidos, ha expresado: “Como siempre, buscamos construir nuestros horarios de vuelo y nuestra red en torno a los lugares donde nuestros clientes quieren volar. Esperamos recibir la aprobación de esta solicitud para permitir el servicio sin escalas de Delta en esta importante ruta”.

Esta estrategia de Delta continua la línea de American Airlines que en Diciembre 2022 aumentó sus frecuencias entre Miami/MIA y Buenos Aires/EZE a tres frecuencias diarias (3Frq/D), contando así con veintiún vuelos semanales (21Frq/S). Este incremento se suma a las frecuencias que tiene la compañía entre Nueva York/JFK y Dallas/DFW con Buenos Aires/EZE.

Este interés que muestran las compañías estadounidenses en Argentina llega en un momento de crecimiento de la conectividad internacional del país sudamericano. En este contexto, las principales compañías aéreas de Estados Unidos continúan recuperando su operación pre-pandemia hacia Argentina y centrando su atención en las oportunidades de este mercado en Sudamérica.

JetSMART Chile aumenta frecuencias hacia RIO/Galeão

La aerolínea low cost JetSMART Airlines Chile ha anunciado la incorporación de más frecuencias en la ruta Santiago de Chile/SCL—Río de Janeiro/GIG, acoplando con el aumento de la frecuencia de vuelos entre Buenos Aires/EZE—Rio de Janeiro/GIG, ambos anunciados para el cronograma de 02/2023. Los nuevos vuelos tendrán una frecuencia diaria (1Frq/D) entre Santiago de Chile y Río de Janeiro comienzan a operar a partir del 8 de Febrero de 2023. JetSMART Airlines Chile actualmente realiza seis operaciones semanales para Río de Janeiro con aviones Airbus A320NEO/A321NEO, configurados para 186 y 240 pasajeros respectivamente.

Actualmente, los destinos regulares de JetSMART Airlines Chile en Brasil son hacia Río de Janeiro y Foz do Iguaçu. Hacia Marzo 2023 la aerolínea reducirá sus frecuencias con cinco vuelos semanales (5Frq/S) en la ruta Santiago/SCL—Rio Janeiro/GIG. En Abril 2023, comenzarán la ruta entre Santiago de Chile/SCL—São Paulo/GRU.

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha reducido la dependencia de los subsidios del Estado argentino en conceptos de gastos representativos, utilizando sólo el 65% del Presupuesto asignado para 2022 según ha informado la compañía aérea el Martes, 17/01 comunicando por anticipado algunas cifras clave que formarán parte de su Informe de Gestión correspondiente al año pasado.

“Durante el año pasado, la línea aérea de bandera recibió solo el 65% de los AR$ 72.000 millones de Pesos asignados por el Estado Nacional, utilizando AR$ 47.000 millones o US$ 353.147.000”, detalló la aerolínea en un comunicado, lo que deja una diferencia de US$ 25.000 millones que la empresa no aplicó. La línea aérea de bandera destacó que los US$ 357 millones gastados implican una reducción de casi el 50% respecto a los aportes del Estado utilizados durante 2021, cuando recibió unos US$ 644,5 millones.

“Estos resultados dan cuenta del esfuerzo que venimos haciendo para continuar achicando los aportes del Estado y solventar los gastos con ingresos propios. Es una gran noticia porque lo pudimos hacer en un contexto macroeconómico complejo”, dijo Pablo Ceriani, Presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas.

En lo que respecta al 2023, las transferencias previstas por parte del Tesoro del Estado ascienden a US$ 412 millones, una reducción de US$ 102 millones respecto al presupuesto proyectado para 2022, aunque por encima de lo efectivamente gastado en el año en términos reales, para este año y en valores de moneda nacional Pesos, el aporte proyectado sería de AR$ 90.000 millones, 26% por encima de 2022.

“Durante este año, los aportes a la línea aérea representarán el 0,31% del Presupuesto del Estado, mientras que 2019 fue del 0,48%. No sólo estamos logrando que la compañía requiera menores aportes del Estado, también su peso relativo en el presupuesto nacional se achica año tras año”, expresó Pablo Ceriani en su cuenta de Twitter.

Ampliación operaciones

Además, la compañía hizo públicos los números referidos a las ventas de tickets, por los cuales a la empresa le ingresaron US$ 1.864 millones en el último año. En 2022, se transportaron 11.670.000 de pasajeros en toda la red de 38 destinos, 48 rutas interprovinciales y 21 destinos internacionales. De acuerdo a lo proyectado para 2023, la empresa apunta a superar la marca histórica de 13.000.000 de pasajeros. “Mientras mejoramos los números, seguimos ampliando la operación: sumamos frecuencias, destinos y aviones para que nuestro país tenga cada día una mayor conectividad”, sostuvo el presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas a través de sus redes sociales.

Aerolíneas Argentinas busca reincorporar la actividad carguera, confirmando el anuncio en Diciembre 2022 de incorporar dos nuevos aviones cargueros Boeing 737-800BDF para lanzarse al 2023 con el objetivo potenciar el negocio del transporte 100% cargueros.

Los dos nuevos aviones arribarán a Argentina durante el primer semestre de 2023, los aviones tendrán una configuración para transportar 22 toneladas de carga paletizada. “Este es un avance muy importante para el país y para nuestra aerolínea de bandera porque, por un lado, con estos dos cargueros que se incorporan a la flota de Aerolíneas Argentinas vamos a tener más herramientas para conectar a nuestros productores y productoras de manera federal y con el mundo”, dijo en su momento el Ministro de Transporte Diego Giuliano.

Aerolíneas refuerza el plan de vuelos a Esquel en Febrero 2023

El Secretario de Turismo de Esquel, Gustavo Simieli, confirmó que durante el mes de Febrero 2023 Aerolíneas Argentinas sumará un vuelo de refuerzo desde Buenos Aires al Aeropuerto Esquel. Actualmente, a aerolínea posee cinco frecuencias semanales (5Frq/S) los Domingos, Lunes, Miércoles, Jueves, Viernes. El vuelo adicional de refuerzo se incorpora los días Sábados, pasando a operar seis frecuencias semanales (6Frq/S).

El Ministro de Turismo de la Provincia de Chubut, Leonardo Gaffet, junto al Secretario de Turismo de Esquel continuarán las gestiones ante las necesidades como el aumento de frecuencias y el cambio de horarios de los vuelos para mejores las conexiones con otras provincias. “Estamos con algunas reuniones pendientes con el Ministro Leonardo Gaffet porque tenemos que encarar fuertemente las gestiones con Aerolíneas para poder conseguir mayor cantidad de vuelos. Para febrero ya tenemos confirmados dos vuelos los días sábados pero necesitamos más, estamos con una gran demanda”, expresó Gustavo Simieli.

La demanda de más vuelos está relacionada con el incremento del flujo de tráfico aéreo de casi el 45% de los visitantes que llegan a Esquel provienen de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.
