Desde el 16 de junio operará Salta-Lima, en julio sumará un vuelo similar desde Rosario y en 2017 será desde Mendoza

El cambio de gobierno en Argentina está comenzando a mostrar una cara más amable para LATAM Airlines, la firma ligada a las familias Cueto y Amaro, que en ese país -a través de LAN- enfrentó diversas dificultades para operar y aún, de hecho, mantiene temas pendientes.

Por ejemplo, tras una larga sequía de anuncios, LAN comunicó hace unos días que abrirá dos nuevas rutas internacionales desde ese país, ambas con destino Lima, Perú.

Primero será un trayecto que parte desde Salta, que comienza a operar el 16 de junio. Luego, a partir de julio sumará otra ruta desde Rosario. El primero de estos itinerarios tendrá una frecuencia de tres veces por semana, mientras el segundo será de cuatro. Además, para febrero de 2017 está previsto abrir una ruta desde Mendoza, lo que es parte de una estrategia del gobierno de abrir nuevas conexiones internacionales desde Argentina.

Mediante un comunicado, la firma informó que esto permitirá mejorar la conexión desde el país trasandino, no sólo para quienes deseen conocer ciudades de Perú, sino también como centro de conexión con otros 30 destinos internacionales.

Estos lugares tienen importancia estratégica, porque Rosario es la tercera ciudad más poblada del país vecino y un gran polo económico, pues desde ahí sale el 80% de los cereales y aceites que se producen en ese país. Salta es la capital de la séptima provincia más poblada de la nación trasandina. Pero no es el único guiño que ha tenido la aerolínea con el nuevo gobierno. Esto porque el lunes cerró un acuerdo que hace algunos meses habría sido imposible.

El ministro argentino de Turismo, Gustavo Santos, firmó junto a la directora de Turismo de LATAM, Claudia Cáceres, un convenio de cooperación para incrementar la llegada de pasajeros a Argentina, a través de promociones turísticas por los canales oficiales de la aerolínea, tanto en Brasil, Chile y Perú, como en Estados Unidos, México, Australia y Europa. La meta del gobierno es sumar 80 mil nuevos turistas.

The change of government in Argentina is beginning to show a more friendly face to LATAM Airlines, the company linked to Amaro and Cueto families in that country -through LAN- faced various difficulties to operate and yet, in fact, maintains pending issues.

For example, after a long drought ad, LAN reported a few days to open two new international routes from there, both bound for Lima, Perú ago.

Salta is the capital of the seventh most populous province of the trans-Andean nation.

But it is not the only nod that the airline has had with the new government. This is because on Monday closed a deal a few months ago would have been impossible.
