Fueron halladas en Madagascar y en la isla Kangaroo, al sur de Australia
Tres posibles piezas del avión del vuelo MH370 de Malaysia Airlines, que desapareció en marzo de 2014 con 239 personas a bordo en uno de los misterios más grandes de la aviación, fueron hallados en Madagascar y en la isla Kangaroo, al sur de Australia, informaron hoy fuentes oficiales.
Dos de las piezas fueron encontradas en Madagascar, mientras que la tercera fue descubierta en la isla Kangaroo, a unos 112 kilómetros al suroeste de Adelaide.
El portavoz de la Oficina para la Seguridad en el Transporte de Australia (ATSB, siglas en inglés), Daniel O’Malley, dijo a la agencia EFE que los restos podrían pertenecer al MH370.
Sobre la pieza encontrada en Kangaroo, O’Malley manifestó que «los restos deberán analizarse para esclarecer su origen y estamos haciendo los preparativos para transportarlos para su examen preliminar».
Hasta el momento se encontraron cinco piezas en la isla Reunión, Mozambique, Mauricio, Sudáfrica y la isla francesa Rodrigues, que las autoridades confirmaron como partes del Boeing 777 desaparecido.
El MH370 desapareció 40 minutos después de despegar de Kuala Lumpur rumbo a Beijing después de que, según la investigación oficial, alguien apagara los sistemas de comunicación y virara el aparato, que se habría estrellado en el mar una vez agotado el combustible.

Three possible pieces of aircraft flight MH370 of Malaysia Airlines, who disappeared in March 2014 with 239 people on board in one of the greatest mysteries in aviation, were found in Madagascar and Kangaroo Island, South Australia, reported official sources.
Two of the pieces were found in Madagascar, while the third was discovered on Kangaroo Island, about 112 kilometers southwest of Adelaide.
The spokesman for the Office for Security in the Transport of Australia (ATSB, acronym in English), Daniel O’Malley, told EFE that the remains could belong to MH370.
On the piece found in Kangaroo, O’Malley said that «the remains should be analyzed to clarify their origin and are making preparations to transport for preliminary examination.»
So far five pieces were found on the island of Reunion, Mozambique, Mauritius, South Africa and the French island Rodrigues, the authorities confirmed as parts of the Boeing 777 disappeared.
