La empresa Ryanair se instalaría en el país tras la compra de Andes Líneas Aereas. Comenzará con una flota de cinco aviones. Buscan operar a otros aeropuertos como La Plata o Córdoba.
La aerolínea de bajo costo RyanAir se prepara para su desembarco en el país, que se haría efectivo a partir de 2017, para competir de manera directa contra Aerolíneas Argentinas. Los directivos de la firma irlandesa ya mantuvieron reuniones con el ministro de Transporte Guillermo Dietrich y buscan adquirir la aerolínea Andes.
Para su desembarco la empresa estima un costo de 50 millones de dólares, y planean una flota inicial de 5 aviones.
Declan Ryan, socio de la empresa, se mostró molesto con las tasas aeroportuarias y no con las regulaciones de precio: “Hay un grupo, Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 que maneja 35 de los 38 aeropuertos que hay en el país, y no me parece muy justo. Ya nos juntamos con las autoridades y esperamos hacerlo nuevamente. Tienen que bajar los costos. En Colombia, por ejemplo, hay cuatro empresas que compiten en el negocio”, afirmó en diálogo con La Nación.
Ryan destacó la tarea de Isela Constantini y dijo: “Escuché cosas increíbles sobre la nueva CEO de Aerolíneas. Tiene un muy buen curriculum y me parece que es muy valiente en tomar el trabajo. Pero si yo fuera el gobierno argentino, traería un socio para Aerolíneas Argentinas, alguien fuerte. Yo se que ustedes piensan que su aerolínea de bandera es como su selección de fútbol, pero no lo es. Su equipo de fútbol es muy eficiente, 12.000 empleados en Aerolíneas Argentinas no está precisamente en los mismos estándares de Messi”.
“En las mayores ciudades del mundo, generalmente hay entre cuatro y cinco aeropuertos, Buenos Aires tiene apenas dos; necesitaría algunos más”, dijeron, a sabiendas de que la aerolínea siempre opta por operar a otro aeropuerto que no es el principal.
