Dos empresas ya negocian para hacerse cargo de la ruta aérea entre Neuquén y Temuco
En Chile son optimistas y trabajan para que el viaje de turistas de un lado a otro de la cordillera comience a tener sus primeras pruebas en tres meses.
La ruta aérea entre Neuquén y Temuco parece ser una realidad. Tras los anuncios del ministro de Turismo, José Brillo, se concretó en la última semana un encuentro clave entre representantes de la provincia y de la región chilena de la Araucanía en donde las autoridades avanzaron en cuestiones clave: la frecuencia, el costo operativo y la viabilidad económica.

Para eso comenzaron las negociaciones con dos empresas. Por un lado la argentina American Jet, que planea hacer dos rutas diarias con 20 pasajeros por vuelo, y por otro con un plan mucho más ambicioso: sumar a Aerolíneas DAP, que trabaja con aeronaves de 140 pasajeros y está interesada en esta ruta aérea.
Fernando Galván, jefe de base de American Jet en Neuquén, habló con medios chilenos y aclaró que se necesitan «acuerdos entre las cámaras y los Gobiernos» para que el costo sea accesible. «En este momento el precio de los pasajes sería de 390 dólares ida y vuelta, pero es algo que se puede bajar a la mitad si logramos acercamientos que sirvan para realizar aportes para achicar el costo operativo», afirmó.
Por su parte Roque Palacios, de Aerolíneas DAP, se mostró mucho más cauto y explicó que si bien estan dispuestos y tienen la capacidad para incorporar sus naves al «puente aéreo» entre Neuquén y Temuco, «hay que ver los factores inherentes al negocio en sí».
«Sería muy lindo si comenzamos a trabajar y si podemos iniciar esta conexión entre los dos países, pero el vuelo hay que sustentarlo», aseguró ante los micrófonos de los medios trasandinos.
Las autoridades chilenas confían en que haya avances en las próximas semanas. Richard Quintana, director de Sernatur Araucanía (el equivalente al ministerio de Brillo en la provincia de Neuquén), destacó que «American Jet podría partir muy pronto» si logra tener «capacidad de venta» de los pasajes en la ruta aérea que se estudia.
En ese sentido ya hay funcionarios de turismo de las diferentes comunas del otro lado de la cordillera que se están uniendo para preparar paquetes para los turistas argentinos que lleguen por aire a Temuco. En ese sentido Angélica Tepper, presidenta de la Multigremial de la Araucanía, aclaró: «Queremos ofrecerles la costa, los mariscos. Queremos hacer una oferta entretenida para que ellos vengan y se queden en nuestra región».
La estimación de los especialistas señala que la ruta de 500 kilómetros entre Neuquén y Temuco durará unos 40 minutos sea el avión que fuere.
Las negociaciones comenzaron y las autoridades estiman que antes de fin de año las aeronaves tienen que comenzar a cruzar la cordillera con costos accesibles y rutas periódicas.
