Junkanoo Air ( Nassau Int’l ) inició sus operaciones comerciales de carga aérea después de haber fallecido presidente el mes pasado Christopher King.
A partir del 30 de agosto de Junkanoo Air ofrece vuelos de carga entre las Bahamas, Estados Unidos (principalmente el sur de Florida), y otras islas en el Caribe, incluyendo Turks & Caicos, Haití y Cuba, con un par de Piper (doble pistón) Piper PA-31-350 cargueros Chieftain. Los planes están a la vista para adquirir Beechcraft 1900 turbohélices durante el próximo año.
Junkanoo Air está autorizado tanto por la Autoridad de Aviación Civil de las Bahamas (CAA) y la Administración de Aviación Federal (FAA) para operar vuelos fletados de carga y pasajeros. Junkanoo Air (Nassau Int’l) commenced commercial freight operations late last month airline president Christopher King has disclosed.
As of August 30, Junkanoo Air provides cargo flights between the Bahamas, the United States (primarily South Florida), and other islands in the Caribbean including Turks & Caicos, Haiti and Cuba, using a pair of Piper (twin piston) Piper PA-31-350 Chieftain freighters. Plans are in the offing to acquire Beechcraft 1900 turboprops over the coming year.
Junkanoo Air is authorized by both the Civil Aviation Authority of the Bahamas (CAA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate chartered cargo and passenger flights. It also is the first Bahamian airline certified to haul HAZMAT (hazardous materials). A\W
