Los Aeronavegantes habían anunciado un paro en protesta por una medida que tomó British Airways con su base en Buenos Aires

La Asociación Argentina de Aeronavegantes acató este mediodía la Conciliación Obligatoria dictada por el Ministerio de Trabajo, a raíz del el conflicto con British Airways, y quedaron sin efecto medidas de fuerzas dispuestas para mañana en todos lo vuelos de las distintas aerolíneas. «Vamos a concurrir a las 15 hs. a las oficinas de la cartera laboral de Callao al 100 para ver qué instancias de negociaciones se abren con la empresa», adelantó Juan Pablo Brey, secretario general del sindicato.

Los Aeronavegantes habían convocado a un paro para mañana en todas las líneas aéreas, en rechazo a la decisión de la empresa British Airways de cerrar su base de tripulantes de cabina de pasajeros en el país.

«Nuestra posición es clara: vamos a defender cada uno de nuestros puestos de trabajo», finalizó Brey, quien también es Secretario de Prensa de la poderosa Confederación Argentina de Trabajadores del Transporte (CATT).

Desde el gremio reconocieron la predisposición del Ministerio de Transporte, a cargo de Guillermo Dietrich, quienes «intervinieron en el conflicto» y cuyos funcionarios se sumaron a una mesa «para lograr un acuerdo».

«Aeronavegantes ya cuenta con un antecedente ante cierres de operaciones. En enero de 2016 dejó de operar la aerolínea SOL y luego de arduas negociaciones que incluyeron «paros solidarios», como el desactivado ahora en British Airways, se logró reincorporar y distribuir a la totalidad de la dotación en empresas como Andes, Austral y LAN», recordaron desde el gremio.
