 CANCÚN, México · En el marco de la 73º Congreso de IATA celebrado en la ciudad de Cancún, la empresa aeronáutica de Brasil, Embraer, adelantó que la gama y el desempeño caliente y alto del avión E190-E2 será mejor de lo esperado, basado en los resultados de la test de pruebas de vuelo de la aeronave realizado hasta el momento.

Embraer ahora dice que el avión podrá incrementar su vuelo hasta 2.600 nm bajo condiciones típicas, aumentando aproximadamente 150 nm más que el aeroconstructor sudamericano ha especificado anteriormente, y alrededor de 500 nm más que cuando lanzó el programa. El aumento se produce cuando se agregan otros 800 kg (1.800 libras) al máximo de la aeronave.
