La aerolínea EL AL anunció la compra de 16 Boeing 787

La aerolínea israelí presentó su nuevo avión de pasajeros, que se lanzará en septiembre de 2017. Los Boeing 787 se unirán a los nuevos aviones 737-900 de la compañía, que ya operan en líneas cortas a Europa.

El presidente y CEO de la aerolínea israelí EL AL, David Maimon, anunció la adquisición de 16 nuevos aviones Boeing 787 «Dreamliner», lo que representa una inversión de más de 1,25 mil millones de dólares. El Boeing Dreamliner 787 es el avión más avanzado del mundo.

El primer avión se unirá a la flota de EL AL en septiembre de 2017, y operará vuelos a Europa. Hacia fines de octubre, el Dreamline se integrará gradualmente a los destinos de larga distancia de EL AL en América del Norte y el Lejano Oriente.

«Estoy orgulloso de anunciar que tras un año y medio de preparativos importantes en EL AL, llegará el nuevo Dreamliner. EL AL se embarca en una nueva era», expresó Maimon. «La llegada de los nuevos aviones 787 creará una revolución en la experiencia del cliente en todas las interfaces de vuelo.»

«Seguimos implementando la visión de EL AL: liderar el mercado de la aviación en Israel y ser la primera opción para todos aquellos que viajan hacia y desde Israel, con el objetivo de proporcionar un servicio de calidad.”

Estos aviones serán gradualmente introducidos hasta 2020, reemplazando a las flotas 747-400 y 767-300 existentes. Los aviones son de última generación, ofreciendo muchas ventajas operacionales y con un económico consumo de combustible.

Los Dreamliners se unirán a los nuevos aviones 737-900 de la compañía, que ya operan en líneas cortas a Europa, modernizando la flota de EL AL.

The Israeli airline introduced its new passenger aircraft, to be launched in September 2017. The Boeing 787 will join the company’s new 737-900 aircraft, which already operate on short lines to Europe.

President and CEO of Israeli airline EL AL David Maimon announced the acquisition of 16 new Boeing 787 «Dreamliner» aircraft, representing an investment of more than 1.25 billion dollars. The Boeing Dreamliner 787 is the most advanced aircraft in the world.

The first aircraft will join the EL AL fleet in September 2017, and will operate flights to Europe. Towards the end of October, the Dreamline will be gradually integrated into the long-haul destinations of EL AL in North America and the Far East.

«I am proud to announce that after a year and a half of major preparations in LA, the new Dreamliner will arrive. AL is embarking on a new era,» said Maimon. «The arrival of the new 787 aircraft will create a revolution in customer experience across all flight interfaces.»

«We continue to implement the vision of EL AL: lead the aviation market in Israel and be the first choice for all those traveling to and from Israel, with the aim of providing quality service.»

These aircraft will be gradually introduced until 2020, replacing the existing 747-400 and 767-300 fleets. The planes are of last generation, offering many operational advantages and with an economic consumption of fuel.
