Se realizaron vuelos de prueba, ejecutando comprobaciones de las características y funcionamiento de los sistemas de la aeronave en despegue y aterrizaje, así como también la extensión de los flaps, con una duración aproximada de 2 horas.

El MC-21-300, es un avión ruso de nueva generación que tendrá una capacidad entre los 163 a 211 pasajeros en sus dos versiones, y podrán ser instaladas varias versiones de plantas motrices, cómo los PW1400G de Pratt & Whitney Company ó los PD-14 de United Engine Corporation (Russia).

Irkut ha ampliado la envoltura de prueba de vuelo del MC-21-300 esta semana, después de la primera salida del twinjet el 28 de mayo. El fabricante ruso dice que el primer avión de prueba ha completado dos vuelos más en su planta en Irkutsk, Siberia.

El plan de vuelo para el segundo vuelo «incluye el control de las características de despegue y aterrizaje y el rendimiento de los sistemas de la aeronave», dice Irkut. El tercer vuelo de la aeronave, que ocurrió ayer hoy, duró 1.5h, durante el cual «se amplió la gama de modos de vuelo y se examinó la configuración de los dispositivos de elevación elevada para cambiar de despegue a crucero».

Irkut extends MC-21 flight-test

The flightplan for flight two «included checking of take-off and landing characteristics and performance of the aircraft systems», says Irkut. The aircraft’s third flight, which occurred earlier today, lasted 1.5h, during which «the range of flight modes was extended and the configuration of high-lift devices was examined to change from take-off to cruising».
