Un Boeing 737-200 LV-JTD, que perteneció a Aerolíneas Argentinas «arribará» a La Reública de los Niños, un parque temático creado para los niños en la ciudad de La Plata. Es el primer parque temático, educativo de latinoamérica dedicado a los más chiquitos. La República de los Niños ocupa un predio de 53 hectáreas con diferentes sectores, edificios de interés, lugares para visitar, juegos y entretenimientos.

La aeronave fue utilizada por soldados a las islas Malvinas, sirvió para viajes presidenciales, y Aerolíneas lo empleó en servicios «Aerolíneas Executive Jet». Ahora se convertirá en uno de los principales atractivos de La República de los Niños.

Este nuevo integrante se transformará en una de las principales atracciones de la República de los Niños. intalarán un check-in y un bar temático, donde se colocará un simulador para tener los efectos reales de un vuelo. La experiencia aeronáutica será gratuita para los alumnos que visiten La República de los Niños en jornadas escolares.
