Meggitt ha obtenido un contrato para la fabricación del actuador de bloqueo de vuelo para el avión C919

Meggitt PLC es un nuevo proveedor para la Corporación de Aeronaves Comerciales de China (COMAC) para proporcionar sistemas de seguridad de puertas para sus aviones C919. COMAC, actuando a través de su subsidiaria Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Meggitt has obtained a contract for the manufacture of the flight blocking actuator for the aircraft C919

Meggitt PLC is a new supplier to China Commercial Aircraft Corporation (COMAC) to provide door security systems for its C919 aircraft. COMAC, acting through its subsidiary Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co. (SAMC), will receive market-leading electromechanical flight closure actuators that prevent passenger, service and emergency doors from opening during flight. Production will begin at Meggitt Simi Valley in California in 2018. Control Systems President Dennis Hutton commented, «We are delighted to build our successful and long-lasting relationship with COMAC by expanding our content on its C919. We are focused on delivering this contract to the level Exact for which we are recognized and COMAC deserves «. The C919 has already attracted more than 600 orders and options from 24 customers, including Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines, etc.
