La aerolínea de bajo costo Norwegian Air ha anunciado su arribo al mercado chileno
La aerolínea Norwegian Air inicia su plan de expansión de rutas hacia Sudamérica. El fundador y CEO de la línea aérea, Bjorn Kjos, había confirmado a fines del 2016 su intención de iniciar operaciones en Chile.
Norwegian Air ya hah realizado la inscripción de su nombre como marca el pasado 30 de marzo ante el Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial (Inapi), acción que fue aceptada a inicios de este mes.
Entre los proyectos de expansión está iniciar operaciones en Chile y Argentina. De hecho, recientemente la compañía noruega comenzó la venta de pasajes para la ruta Buenos Aires-Londres con fecha posterior a febrero de 2018. Con esto, estrenaría sus vuelos low cost por primera vez en América Latina. Para llevar a cabo sus planes de expansión, Norwegian Air reforzó durante el año pasado su flota de aviones, sumando nuevas aeronaves que podrán ser utilizadas en rutas de largo alcance.
El arribo de Norwegian Air a Chile se suma a las aerolíneas low cost que han aterrizado recientemente en el país, entre las aéreas locales como Sky Airline y Latam Airlines que han modificado su modalidad de tarifas para poder competir con los nuevos integrantes del mercado chileno.

Norwegian Air has already registered its name as a trademark on March 30 before the National Institute of Industrial Property (Inapi), an action that was accepted earlier this month.
