La aerolínea mexicana Interjet ha denegado los informes de los medios de que está canibalizando aviones Sukhoi SSJ-100
Interjet ha comunicado que sus cuatro aviones Sukhoi SSJ-100 que están en mantenimiento no están siendo afectados como parte de repuestos para la flota activa de 18 aviones.
A principios de Enero 2018 se había informado sobre supuestos procesos de canibalización de la flota de cuatro aviones Sukhoi Super Jet SSJ-100 que estaban en mantenimiento, para suplir la necesidad de repuestos a la flota de 18 aeronaves activas de la compañía Interjet.
«Estamos totalmente en desacuerdo con las declaracines de que estos aviones están siendo canibalizados ni que los aviones son lentamente desguazados por piezas de repuesto. [Los cuatro aviones] están programados para regresar a servicio completo entre Enero-Marzo de 2018», según detalló en un comunicado la aerolínea mexicana en rumores infundados por la agencia de noticias Bloomberg.

La línea aérea remarcó que los cuatro aviones SSJ-100 que se encuentran en mantenimiento no ha afectado las operaciones de la aerolínea, ni tampoco está comprometida la seguridad de la flota por falta de repuesto. Aunque es común en las áreas de mantenimiento en aviación una lenta respuesta de los distribuidorres de material para la aviación o prácticas de canibalización para proveerse de material para las flotas activas, esto no pondría en jaque la flota de los cuatro SSJ-100 que se encuentran en el área de Mantenimiento d la compañía Interjet para fines de desguace.
El papel del SSJ-100 en Interjet
La aerolínea mexicana Interjet dice que el avión ruso SSJ-100 es de importancia estratégica para sus operaciones. «El Sukhoi Superjet 100 es popular entre Interjet, ya que juega un papel muy estratégico al permitirnos penetrar en los mercados de densidad media en México, ampliando nuestra cobertura general. No hay otro jet regional de 100 asientos disponible con la capacidad de operar de manera eficiente en el entorno operativo complejo, altitud y temperaturas extremas que caracterizan a México», dijo la aerolínea.
El SSJ-100 permite a la aerolínea mejorar los niveles generales de utilización de aeronaves, permitiendo reducir el número de aviones necesarios en la flota para efectuar su red de servicios. Debido al costo de adquisición bajo, es una flota muy flexible para la compañía.
«Seguimos ampliando nuestro servicio aumentando las frecuencias y agregando nuevos mercados. Ningún otro fabricante de aviones podría ofrecer una oferta comparable competitiva como Sukhoi», dijo en el comunicado la aerolínea Interjet.
