JetBlue Airways recurre a la justicia para forzar cambio nombre a French Blue

La aerolínea francesa French Blue, filial del Grupo Dubreuil, ha anunciado que pasará a denominarse French Bee debido a un conflicto de marca visual.

El cambio de denominación se debe a un proceso judicial en Estados Unidos iniciado por la aerolínea JetBlue Airways. La compañía francesa comunicó su intención de operar viajes a la Polinesia Francesa, un destino para el que es necesario realizar una escala en EEUU. Ante esto, JetBlue Airways denunció que la similitud entre los nombres de las empresas podría dar lugar a equívocos entre los clientes.

Tras el cambio, las conexiones entre Francia, San Francisco (escala elegida) y Papeete no sufrirán demoras. El primer viaje está programado para el 6 de Febrero 2018 con un Airbus A350-900.
