Justicia investiga negocios de Avianca con el Gobierno de Argentina

La causa Avianca, ha tomado nuevo impulso por movimientos claves en las últimas horas. El juez del caso requirió registros contables, contratos y documentación a las empresas de la familia presidencial para investigar si existieron incompatibilidades con la asignación de rutas aéreas.

La Justicia de Argentina investiga la concesión de rutas aéreas de la firma Avian Holding de la aerolínea Avian Líneas Aéreas, formalmente Avianca Argentina. Tras el proceso de compra de MacAir, histórica empresa de aviones de la familia Macri efectuada en el 2017, el Gobierno de Argentina le otorgó 16 rutas aéreas a Avian Líneas Aéreas.

La Justicia ordenó que, conforme a los términos del contrato, la empresa de la familia presidencial remita constancias de los pagos que se hicieron por la operación de transacción de la venta de la aerolínea, recibos y extractos bancarios que acrediten que existió una erogación como así las operaciones que se hubieran asentado en los libros contables con motivo de la venta de MacAir Jet SA y MacAir Transporte Aéreo a Avian Holding y las actas de directorio donde se aprobó la operación.

Según pudo conocer la nacion de fuentes judiciales, el juez también le requirió a Avian Líneas Aéreas que demuestre las operaciones que se registraron en sus libros societarios. Las acciones de MacAir cambiaron de titularidad y hoy están en manos de Avian Holding y de Germán Efromovich, el magnate dueño de Avianca.

Qatar Airways incorpora su primer A350-1000 a su flota

Airbus entregó el primer A350-1000, la variante más grande de la familia A350XWB, a su cliente de lanzamiento Qatar Airways el 20 de Febrero 2018 en Toulouse, Francia.

Qatar Airways incorpora en el flamante A350-1000 la nueva cabina de clase ejecutiva en configuración Club con cuatro asientos que pueden “unirse” bajando separaciones entre ellos para formar una cabina privada. Dos de ellos además formán una cama doble, la primera en clase business según la aerolínea.

A350-1000 de Qatar Airways

El A350-1000 de Qatar Airways transportará 366 pasajeros en configuración de tres clases. El A350-1000 de Qatar Airways tiene una configuración de 44 asientos más que el A350-900 en servicio con la aerolínea. Ingresará oficialmente al servicio el 24 de Febrero 2018 en la ruta Doha-Heathrow, Reino Unido.

«Esta entrega es extremadamente importante para Airbus y Qatar Airways, ya que esta aerolínea fue el cliente de lanzamiento tanto del A350-900 como del -1000», dijo Fabrice Brégier, ex presidente de Airbus Commercial Aircraft. La compra del A350-1000 de Qatar fue el último proyecto oficial de Brégier antes de ser reemplazado por Guillaume Faury. Qatar Airways espera recibir cinco A350-1000 adicionales este año.

Demoras en entrega del A350-1000

Esta entrega cayó desde diciembre de 2017 debido a un retraso en la entrega de sus nuevos asientos de clase ejecutiva Q-Suite fabricados por B / E Aerospace (ahora parte de Rockwell Collins). «El A350-1000 es un programa muy complejo, pero el problema se resolvió en un tiempo récord, y estoy encantado de tener este nuevo avión en mi flota», dijo Akbar Al-Baker, CEO de la aerolínea.

Certificación A350-1000

Las utilidades neta de Aeroméxico se desplomaron 98.4%

La aerolínea Aeroméxico lidera el sector aéreo registró una utilidad neta por 18 millones de pesos (mdp) en 2017, una caída de 98.4% en comparación con el año previo. Sin embargo, sus ingresos subieron 14%. Las ganancias de Aeroméxico cayeron en picada en 2017 ante la presión de mayores gastos por el aumento en el precio del combustible.

“Para el año 2017, el precio del combustible en pesos [mexicanos] presionó los costos totales de operaciones en aproximadamente 2,900 millones de pesos respecto al año previo”, comentó la empresa en el reporte de los resultados financieros del último periodo del año enviado a la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV).

Los gastos de operación, incluyendo renta de equipo y depreciación, se elevaron 15.9% anual, alcanzando los 58,371 mdp en el año pasado. El costo por asiento por kilómetro (CASK) en dólares, que mide el costo por mover cada asiento por aeronave, se incrementó 3.2% anual. Sin tomar en cuenta el combustible, el CASK disminuyó 0.8%, en comparación con 2016.

La aerolínea ha incrementados sus ingresos que totalizaron $ 61,481 millones, un alza de 14% anual. Casi la mitad de los ingresos de Aeroméxico provienen de pasajeros internacionales, lo que le permite tener un tipo de cobertura en dolar frente a la depreciación de la moneda nacional. El crecimiento de los ingresos estuvo impulsado por la entrada de dinero por servicios complementarios y carga.

Durante los primeros meses de 2017, la industria aérea mexicana vivió una desaceleración en el número de pasajeros que volaba a Estados Unidos se desaceleró. Aeroméxico no escapó de esta baja causada por la llegada de Donald Trump a la presidencia de Estados Unidos.

Otro factor que disuadió a los pasajeros internacionales fue la depreciación del peso frente al dólar en los primeros dos meses del año. En enero de 2017, la paridad cambiaria tocó un máximo de 21.95 pesos y estuvo por debajo de los 20 pesos hasta finales del mes de febrero. Al cierre de 2017, el tipo de cambio era de 19.65 pesos, una apreciación de la moneda nacional de 5.7% a lo largo del año.

Delta Air Lines ha comprado en 2017 el 32% de Aeroméxico totalizando un 36,2% de las acciones de Aeroméxico. Los planes de la aerolínea estadounidense pasan por hacerse con el 49% de las acciones de la aerolínea de México.
