Real Tonga Airlines inaugura dos frecuencias semanales a Samoa
Real Tonga Airlines realizó su vuelo inaugural desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Fua’amotu, ubicado a 20 km de la capital de Tonga, Nuku’ Alofa previa escala en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Vava’u en la Isla de Vava’u, hacia el Aeropuerto Faleolo en Apia, capital de la República de Samoa, el 29 Junio 2018. El vuelo lleva una hora a Vava’u y otra hora y 15 minutos a Apia.
El único operador nacional de Tonga, Real Tonga Airlines ha hecho su primer vuelo hacia Samoa, comenzando con dos frecuencias semanales entre Tonga y Samoa. Su Directora Ejecutiva, Tevita Palu, ha informado que Samoa es su primer destino internacional debido al amor que sienten por el país. La aerolínea ha estado prestando servicios a Tonga a nivel nacional desde su creación hace cinco años. Polynesian Airlines, ahora Samoa Airways, solía volar entre Apia y Tongatapu en las décadas de 1980 y 1990. Tevita Palu dijo que no había un servicio directo desde Tonga a Samoa durante casi diez años y que la única forma de llegar a Samoa era ir a través de Auckland o Nadi.

Real Tonga Airlines made its maiden flight from the Fua’amotu International Airport, located 20 km from the capital of Tonga, Nuku ‘Alofa previous stopover at the Vava’u International Airport on the Island of Vava’u, to the Airport Faleolo in Apia, capital of the Republic of Samoa, on June 29, 2018. The flight takes one hour to Vava’u and another hour and 15 minutes to Apia.
The only Tonga national carrier, Real Tonga Airlines has made its first flight to Samoa, starting with two weekly flights between Tonga and Samoa. Its Executive Director, Tevita Palu, has reported that Samoa is their first international destination due to the love they feel for the country. The airline has been serving Tonga nationally since its inception five years ago. Polynesian Airlines, now Samoa Airways, used to fly between Apia and Tongatapu in the 1980s and 1990s. Tevita Palu said there was no direct service from Tonga to Samoa for almost ten years and that the only way to get to Samoa was to go to through Auckland or Nadi.
