Las bases de Gran Canaria, Tenerife y Mallorca serán las más afectadas por el plan de recortes de la aerolínea

Norwegian Air tiene previsto cerrar sus bases de Gran Canaria, Tenerife y Mallorca, y también disminuirá las frecuencias con estos destinos. La aerolínea noruega ha comunicado a los sindicatos su intención de despedir trabajadores para salvar la situación económica. La compañía cancelará la ruta Tenerife Sur-Roma dentro del programa de reducción de costes en aeropuertos europeos y estadounidenses. Los recortes se producirán a partir de Abril 2019.

En cambio, prevé mantener las bases de Barcelona, Alicante, Málaga y Madrid. En la Ciudad Condal cuenta con dos bases, una de corto radio y otra de largo, que no sufrirán cambios. Norwegian justifica que estos recortes se deben a la revisión exhaustiva de su flota de aviones Boeing 737 con el fin de incrementar rentabilidad y reducir costes.

Los cambios de reducción también afectarán al personal, aunque se intentará traspasar trabajadores a la operativa de largo radio, que opera con el modelo Boeing 787 Dreamliner. La reestructuración de Norwegian va a afectar a algunas de las rutas operadas por los modelos Boeing 737-800 y 737-8 MAX, aeronaves que se utilizan sobre todo en rutas europeas.

Recortes otras rutas

Norwegian Air también renunciará a las de Roma Fiumicino y Providence en Estados Unidos. La aerolínea ha informado que, pese a los recortes, mantiene 122 rutas en oferta en España. “El objetivo es garantizar que todo esto afecte al menor número posible de empleados”, ha dicho Helga Bollmann Leknes, directora gerente de Norwegian Air Resources.

Norwegian Air ha acumulado una deuda de 2.500 millones de euros y vive una situación financiera muy delicada. IAG se ha interesado en comprar Norwegian tras adquirir acciones de la aerolínea, pero las negociaciones no han fructificado.

Sindicatos aeronáuticos de Argentina anuncian un paro total de la actividad aérea por 48 horas

El gobierno nacional, a través de la Secretaría de Trabajo, dictó hoy la conciliación obligatoria en el conflicto de los 0002895677 pilotos, que habían decretado un paro de 48 horas desde mañana, pero los pilotos sostienen que no fueron notificados y ratificaron la medida de fuerza. La Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA) y la Unión de Aviadores de Líneas Aéreas (UALA) de Argentina anunciaron hoy un paro total de actividades por 48 horas a partir de este jueves, para protestar contra la normativa que favorece la llegada de pilotos extranjeros al país. «En línea con la actual política aerocomercial, la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) insiste en abrir libremente nuestros cielos a pilotos extranjeros para poder reemplazarnos si ejercemos nuestro derecho constitucional de huelga», expresa el Sindicato APLA.

La Secretaría de Trabajo había convocado a una reunión entre las partes para mediar en el conflicto sindical, pero el secretario general de la Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA), Pablo Biró ratificó el paro. El gobierno nacional, a través de la Secretaría de Trabajo, dictó hoy la conciliación obligatoria en el conflicto de los pilotos, pero los sindicalistas del sector sostienen que no fueron notificados y ratificaron la medida de fuerza de 48 horas a partir de este Jueves, 17 Enero 2019.

Compañías afectadas y no afectadas

El paro, dispuesto por los pilotos agremiados en APLA (Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas) y UALA (Unión de Aviadores de Líneas Aéreas), afectará a las compañías aéreas que vuelan cabotaje en el país con pilotos argentinos, Aerolíneas Argentinas, Austral Líneas Aéreas, Andes Líneas Aéreas, Avianca Argentina y Latam Airlines Argentina.

Mientras tanto, no así a Flybondi Líneas Aéreas y Norwegian Air Argentina, ya que estas empresas no cuentan con personal afiliado a ninguno de los sindicatos que lo decretaron, sino más bien por gremios propios de ambas aerolíneas.

El conflicto se inició en el cuestionamiento por parte de los pilotos de la Resolución Nº 895/2018 que se publicó el 22 Noviembre 2018 de la ANAC que resolvió la habilitación de instructores extranjeros de vuelo.

Actualmente la norma establece que los pilotos extranjeros solo pueden operar como instructores y están habilitados a volar por un período de dos años, que es el período fijado cuando una compañía compra aviones y los pilotos locales no tienen la autorización para operarlos. Los gremios argumentaron entonces que esta resolución es una puerta que se abre para avanzar con el contrato de pilotos extranjeros fuera de convenio para poder romper huelgas y frente a esta situación dispusieron un paro por 48 horas para los días 13 y 14 Diciembre 2018, pero la cartera de Trabajo dictó la conciliación obligatoria por 15 días hábiles.

Sindicatos analizan próximo para de pilotos en Argentina

Los pilotos de aerolíneas en Argentina volverán esta semana a las medidas de fuerza con afectación de los vuelos, por el conflicto laboral que mantienen con el Gobierno hace más de un mes. Este Martes 15 Enero 2019 había finalizado la Conciliación Obligatoria establecida por el Gobierno, y los gremios aeronáuticos podrían parar durante esta semana.

El conflicto estalló a principios de Diciembre 20108 con la Resolución 895/18 por la que la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) facilitó el proceso de “Reválida de licencias a pilotos extranjeros”. Básicamente, la ANAC reconoce la experiencia de cualquier piloto extranjero y le otorga una licencia argentina para que pueda volar en el país. Esto antes estaba restringido sólo a los pilotos deportivos.

Conflicto interpretaciones

Los gremios ven a la decisión oficial como un potencial peligro para las actuales y futuras fuentes de trabajo de los pilotos locales. Sostienen que nada tiene que ver la medida con la intención de repatriar trabajadores argentinos que están en el exterior. Para el Gobierno, sin embargo, el beneficio es sólo para los instructores extranjeros que vienen a capacitar a los trabajadores de las nuevas firmas que desembarcan en el país, pero los gremios insisten con que esto no está explícito en ningún lugar de la medida.

Los pilotos de las líneas aéreas de Latam Airlines Argentina, Avianca Argentina, Andes Líneas Aéreas, Aerolíneas Argentinas y Austral Líneas Aéreas lanzaron una huelga de 48 horas para el 13 y 14 Diciembre 2018, pero la Secretaría de Trabajo dictó la conciliación obligatoria hasta el 28 Diciembre y luego la extendió hasta el 15 Enero 2019. Esa conciliación obligatoria venció este Martes a las 23:59 hs, por lo que la Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA) y la Unión de Aviadores Líneas Aéreas (UALA) confirmaron el retorno del plan de lucha.

APLA y UALA sostienen que el objetivo del Gobierno no es sólo facilitar el ingreso de instructores extranjeros al mercado argentino, sino que estos trabajen como pilotos comerciales no sindicalizados para erosionar el poder de fuego de los combativos gremios aeronáuticos. Según aseguró el ministro de Transporte, Guillermo Dietrich, cuando estalló el conflicto, la ANAC decidió agilizar la validación de las licencias de los pilotos extranjeros porque las nuevas aerolíneas que vienen a operar en la Argentina necesitan traer instructores para capacitar al personal local contratado.
