Nasa y Boeing acuerdan lanzamientos pruebas cápsula tripulada Starliner para Noviembre 2019
La NASA se está acercando a dejar de depender de sus astronautas que viajan en avión al espacio desde Rusia, ya que el Boeing Starliner tiene una nueva fecha objetivo para su primera misión no tripulada a la Estación Espacial Internacional. Boeing CST-100 Starliner junto con SpaceX Crew Dragon son los dos vehículos con los que la NASA está trabajando para transportar a los 
astronautas a la EEI desde los EE. UU. Por primera vez desde que finalizó el programa del transbordador espacial en 2011. Desde entonces, los astronautas han tenido que volar a bordo de Soyuz lanzamiento de cápsulas desde Kazajstán.
La Nasa y Boeing han acordado las fechas tentativas del primer vuelo para los lanzamientos de prueba de la cápsula tripulada Starliner previos a su primera misión, con el objetivo de que sean fechas realistas. El programa aeroespacial Boeing CST-100 Starliner comienza con las pruebas definitivas para su puesta en órbita espacial. La primera prueba que se va a llevar a cabo será la del sistema de escape en la plataforma y tendrá lugar el 4 Noviembre 2019 en White Sands Missile Range en Nuevo México. El 17 Diciembre 2019 se va a realizar la prueba de vuelo orbital en Space Launch Complex 41 en la estación de la Fuerza Aérea de Cabo Cañaveral en Florida a bordo de un cohete Atlas V del Complejo de Lanzamiento Espacial 41.
La Nasa y sus socios comerciales siguen comprometidos con los astronautas que participarán en esta misión lo más rápido posible sin comprometer la seguridad de la tripulación y “siempre daremos prioridad a la seguridad sobre el cronograma. A medida que se revisen más fechas, la Nasa actualizará su calendario”, ha explicado la agencia en un comunicado.

As more dates are reviewed, NASA will update its calendar”, the agency explained in a statement.
