Aeropuerto de Halim Perdanakusuma en Indonesia retorna normalidad después de las inundaciones masivas

La Administración Federal de Aviación (FAA) dijo que el regulador está siguiendo un proceso exhaustivo para devolver el Boeing 737 MAX al servicio de pasajeros. Mientras tando, Boeing tiene por delante que lidiar con la seguridad de los aviones 737 MAX, como así también continuar negociando con las aerolíneas comprometidas con las órdenes y entregas de la aeronave puesta en tierra a nivel mundial, un desafío colosal para una empresa colosal.

Funcionarios despedidos no cobraron la doble indemnización

Tras la nueva dirección en el Grupo Aerolíneas, alrededor de cuarenta funcionarios fueron desvinculados de Aerolíneas Argentinas. El nuevo conflicto se deriva de la doble indemnización que ha regulado el Presidente Alberto Fernández, no debutó bien puertas adentro en Aerolíneas Argentinas. Los cuarentas funcionarios que la nueva gestión ha desvinculado, no se les ha aplicado el pago multiplicado por dos que establece el Decreto 34/2019.

El 13 Diciembre 2019 se había realizado una reunión del Directorio en la que se nombraría a los nuevos directivos de la compañía. Un total de diez funcionarios fueron despedidos. Otros de alta gerencia: cuatro de la gerencia comercial, tres de gestión, cinco de la económica y financiera, cuatro de abastecimiento y logística, dos de asuntos legales, cuatro de recursos humanos, cinco de sistemas, entre gerentes y subgerentes, y uno de recursos técnico y aeronáuticos.

Al primer lote, de los directores, fueron a los primeros que les depositaron el importe. No hubo negociación. A cada uno se les depositó la indemnización simple. Inmediatamente, los directores se dieron vuelta a consultar a los abogados. Entre los abogados laboralistas, la duda es desde cuándo está vigente el decreto. El decreto está vigente desde el 13 Diciembre 2019, justo el día de la legislación por decreto. Los abogados, mayoritariamente, concuerdan que la indemnización comprende a todos los trabajadores del sector privado despedidos sin justa causa que hayan iniciado una relación laboral antes del 13 Diciembre 2019. Ese es el argumento que tomaron los directivos de la línea aérea para rechazar la indemnización simple. Un tema más, a diferencia del sector público Aerolíneas Argentinas y su grupo de empresas son sociedades anónimas, por lo tanto, el derecho que se aplica es el común. Finalmente, la mayoría rechazaron la propuesta. Por otra parte, llegó la propuesta a los gerentes. Con ellos, la cosa fue distinta. Les ofrecieron las indemnizaciones simples, pero, a diferencia de los directores, si renunciaban a la indemnización doble, les mantenía a ellos y a su grupo familiar, una cobertura de medicina privada por seis meses. Hasta el 31 Diciembre 2019, las posturas habían sido diversas, aunque, como los despidos y las propuestas fueron después, aún tenían la posibilidad de rechazar o aceptar el pago indemnizatorio.

Desde la compañía expresaron que «Son negociaciones entre privados y no podemos informar nada», contestaron. Así se abren nuevas controversias sobre los conceptos de liquidaciones de indemnizaciones de los funcionarios despedidos en Aerolíneas Argentinas. Todo parecería indicar que habrá algún procedimiento judicial.

Eastern Airlines iniciará operaciones internacionales

Eastern Airlines ha solicitado al Departamento de transporte d(DOT) de Estados Unidos la autorización para el inicio de las operaciones internacionales de pasajeros programadas. La red de serviciios iniciales al exterior incluyen destinos en México, Guyana y Ecuador.

La aerolínea sugiere que darle acceso a estos mercados «es coherente con el interés público y promoverá la muy necesaria competencia al facilitar un nuevo participante en los mercados internacionales». El Departamente de Transporte debe recibir las respuestas que apoyen u opongan a la solicitud más reciente de Eastern antes del 8 Enero 2020.

Eastern Airlines ya posee un Certificado de Conveniencia Pública y necesidad de operar entre Nueva York/JFK y Georgetown/Cheddi Jagan con tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) y tiene autoridad de exención para operar entre Nueva York/JFK y Guayaquil, en Ecuador, con dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S). Según la aplicación, ambas rutas se realizarán bajo un modelo comercial de tarifas bajas como vuelos programados a partir de la 2Q2020. La actual flota de aeronaves para las operaciones serán los Boeing 767-200ER (3), Boeing 767-300ER (5) y B777-200ER (1).

La compra 20% de Latam por Delta modifica mercado aéreo en Latinoamérica

Delta Air Lines ha completado su compra de una participación del 20% en Latam Airlines Group, modificando el mercado aéreo en Latinoamérica. Latam es miembro de Oneworld, con la compra del 20% por parte de Delta Air Lines, el escenario pronto cambiaría en la región.

El acuerdo Delta-Latam es parte de una estrategia más amplia del transportador norteamericano. La finalización del acuerdo se informó el 31 Diciembre 2019, teniendo como objetivo realizar inversiones de capital en aerolíneas clave de todo el mundo. El rechazo por parte del Gobierno de Chile a la propuesta American-Latam generó un conflicto persistente creando un vacío donde Delta Air Lines ingresó rápidamente en el interés de Latam Airlines. En Septiembre de 2019, Delta Air Lines sorprendió a muchos cuando anunció que tomaría una participación del 20% en Latam Airlines Group por un valor de US$ 1.9 mil millones. Las proyecciones de Delta Air Lines en el acuerdo abriría oportunidades de crecimiento tanto para Delta como para Latam Airlines y sus subsidiarias al tiempo que ofrecería a sus clientes una selección más amplia de destinos.

Tras el anuncio en 09/2109 de la compra accionaria de Delta en Latam, las alianzas relacionadasa con la compañía sudamericana pronto caerían, incluyendo la rescisión del contrato con la Alianza Oneworld que entrará en vigencia a partir del 20 Octubre 2020. El Gobierno de la India responsabiliza aerolíneas por mercado predatorio

Los precios depredadores de las tarifas aéreas continúan afianzándose en el mercado de la India. Esta situación de una depreciación del valor de los pasajes aéreos por debajo de la banda aceptable está generando incremento de pérdidas para las líneas aéreas en un mercado muy competitivo, donde las compañías están avarientaas por captar más mercado luego de que Jet Airways a sucumbido.

En el contexto de las compañías aéreas indias que informaron grandes pérdidas en el segundo trimestre de 2019, Ministro de Aviación Hardeep Singh Puri, ha infomado el Martes 31 Diciembre 2019 que «se están aplicando algunos precios depredadores en las tarifas aéreas y al gobierno le preocupa que si esto continúa, se cerrarán más aerolíneas». Sin embargo, descartó cualquier plan del gobierno para regular las tarifas. «Lo interesante que hemos observado es que en Delhi-Mumbaihace 20 años, la tarifa promedio era de 5.100 rupias. Hoy, la tarifa promedio es de 4.600 rupias. Se están aplicando algunos precios depredadores. Significa que las personas están vendiendo boletos por debajo de su cost. Una de nuestras preocupaciones es que si hay precios predatorios, las aerolíneas dejarán de funcionar».

Jet Airways, Kingsfisher Airlines fueron líneas aéreras afectadas por un vaiado problema de mercado en la India. IndiGo y SpiceJet, las dos aerolíneas más grandes de la India, informaron pérdidas de Rs 1.062 millones de rupias y Rs 463 millones de rupias respectivamente en el segundo trimestre de 2019. Desde el Ministerio de Aviación sostienen que la tendencia de los precios depredadores ha disminuido después de una discusión regular con las aerolíneas: «Es una batalla constante. Una situación ideal desde el punto de vista de una aerolínea es que crecen y también pueden cobrar más tarifas. Lo que cobran es su negocio. Nuestro consejo para ellos es cobrar tarifas realistas. No debería ser demasiado alto. Y no es de su interés comercial si está imponiendo tarifas depredadoras», sostuvo.

India, tarifas no reguladas

El Gobierno de la India no planea regular las tarifas aéreas. El Ministro ha expresado la postura: «No hay regulación. Tiene que hacerse dentro del sistema de desregulación. Si se impone un límite a la tarifa, la aerolínea comenzará a cobrar ese límite solo ese límite se convertirá en la tarifa normal. Entonces, dentro de una estructura desregulada, tenemos que lograr un equilibrio. Vuelo AR2861 de Austral perdió altura y quedó a oscuras por una falla técnica

El vuelo AR2861 de Austral Líneas Aéreas efectuaba la ruta Córdoba-Ushuaia el Sábado 28 Diciembre 2019, cuando una falla técnica causó momentos de nerviosismo cuando en medio del trayecto la aeronave Embraer E190-100AR pierde altura y lumínica en cabina.

Causas desperfectos

El incidente del avión de Austral tuvo su origen en un módulo de una de las computadoras y fue resuelto en minutos, sin poner en riesgo a todas las personas a bordo y la tripulación de vuelo. El área de Prensa de Aerolíneas Argentinas han informado que el descenso se dio por decisión de la tripulación, que activó un sistema auxiliar presente en todos los vuelos comerciales, que funciona cuando se vuela a baja altura y que de ese modo genera energía adicional.

El avión partió del Aeropuerto Ambrosio Taravella de Córdoba a las 12:15 hs con arribo programado a Ushuaia a las 16:00 hs. El viaje transcurría con total normalidad hasta que “faltando alrededor de una hora aproximadamente algo pasó, ya que el avión comenzó a perder altura, se apagaron todas las luces y disminuyó la velocidad. Después de algunos minutos habló el comandante de la nave para decir que había un problema eléctrico y que era posible que se tendría que descender en el aeropuerto más cercano, que todos permanecieran sentados y con los cinturones ajustados. La tripulación había manejado la posibilidad de aterrizar en Río Gallegos”, contó Raúl Vázquez, uno de los pasajeros.

La tripulación había comunicado que se habían deguido todos los protocolos de seguridad para estos casos de situaciones de emergencias. El Comandante del vuelo AR2861 había comunicado que continuarían la ruta hasta arribar a Ushuaia, capital de la Provincia de Tierra del Fuego, permitiendo a los pasajeros disipar el susto al aterrizar seguros. Desde la compañía aérea han comunicado que la aeronave afectada Embraer E190-100AR ha sido puesta a observación en Mantenimiento en fase de revisión para reparar el incidente ocasionado.
