Tripadvisor 2020 galardona a las mejores compañías
Tripadvisor, la plataforma de viajes más grande del mundo, como parte de sus esfuerzos continuos para apoyar la recuperación de la industria del turismo y la hospitalidad, anunció hoy a los ganadores de su décimo octavo premio anual Travelers ‘Choice Awards.
Este codiciado programa de premios celebra los hoteles, restaurantes y aerolíneas favoritas de los viajeros en todo el mundo, honrando a 4,817 negocios únicos este año. Los ganadores se calculan en función de la calidad y cantidad de los millones de comentarios, opiniones y calificaciones recopilados en Tripadvisor en 2019, antes de la pandemia. Con más de 8,7 millones de empresas incluidas en Tripadvisor, estos premios son un testimonio del servicio y la calidad que los ganadores brindan constantemente a sus huéspedes.
“Este ha sido un año difícil para nuestra industria, pero el deseo global de ir a explorar, ya sea que el destino esté a una hora de distancia o en todo el mundo, sigue siendo fuerte. Como novedad este año, todos los premios y reconocimientos de Tripadvisor se incluyen en el marco de Travelers ‘Choice para reconocer más claramente a las empresas y sus logros: Los ganadores de Travelers ‘Choice ahora son honrados como Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best, que representan las propiedades más excepcionales y mejor calificadas del mundo. Estas empresas se encuentran entre el 1% superior de todos los listados en Tripadvisor. Los galardonados con el Certificado de Excelencia ahora se celebran como ganadores de Travelers ‘Choice, conocidos por ganar constantemente excelentes críticas. Estas empresas se encuentran entre el 10% superior de todos los listados en Tripadvisor. Nuevas categorías: hoteles más guardados, propiedades de lista de deseos que los viajeros ahorraron más que cualquier otro en 2019, y hoteles de lujo boutique, hoteles de cinco estrellas para relajarse con comodidad y estilo.
Las aerolíneas
Honrar a las mejores aerolíneas favoritas de los viajeros, mejor aerolínea por ubicación, mejor aerolínea por tamaño y mejor aerolínea por clase de servicio ha llevado a Tripadvisor a seleccionar a los ganadores para este año 2020.
Azul Brazilian Airlines es elegida como la Mejor Aerolínea del Mundo por Tripadvisor. Primera vez que un portador de bandera brasileña obtiene la clasificación número uno en los premios Traveler’s Choice Awards.
Azul Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado este 28/07 que ha sido elegida como la mejor aerolínea del mundo en los premios Tripadvisor Travelers ‘Choice Awards 2020. Esta es la primera vez que una aerolínea de bandera brasileña ha alcanzado el puesto número uno en estos premios obteniendo el título de «Lo mejor de lo mejor». Estas clasificaciones se basan en comentarios reales de millones de pasajeros durante sus viajes en el año calendario 2019.
Para John Rodgerson, CEO de Azul, el título de Mejor aerolínea del mundo es la realización de una misión creada en 2008. «Cuando fundamos Azul en 2008 teníamos una visión simple de ser la mejor aerolínea del mundo. Hoy, más 11 años después tenemos la confirmación de esa visión. La aerolínea low cost estadounidense Southwest Airlines ocupa el puesto número uno por tercer año consecutivo como Mejor Aerolínea de Estados Unidos.

New this year, all Tripadvisor awards and recognitions are included in the Travelers’ Choice framework to more clearly recognize companies and their achievements: Travelers’ Choice winners are now honored as Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best, They represent the most exceptional and highest rated properties in the world. These companies are among the top 1% of all listings on Tripadvisor. Certificate of Excellence recipients are now celebrated as Travelers’ Choice winners, known for consistently winning rave reviews. These companies are among the top 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor. New categories: best-kept hotels, wish list properties that travelers saved more than any other in 2019, and boutique luxury hotels, five-star hotels to relax in comfort and style.

Honoring the best travelers’ favorite airlines, best airline by location, best airline by size and best airline by class of service has led Tripadvisor to select the winners for this year 2020.
Azul Brazilian Airlines is chosen as the Best Airline in the World by Tripadvisor. First time that a Brazilian flag bearer achieves the number one ranking in the Traveler’s Choice Awards.
