Avian Líneas Aéreas retorna despegue en Argentina
La aerolínea Avian Líneas Aéreas que había entrado en Convocatoria de Acreedores en 2019, demoraría un mínimo de seis meses para volver a volar, tras el aval de la Justicia a su acuerdo con los acreedores. Avian Líneas Aéreas, la compañía local controlada por el boliviano-colombiano Germán Efromovich que operó bajo la marca Avianca Argentina durante veinte meses desde Noviembre de 2017, logró que la Justicia homologue el acuerdo preventivo de pago con la mayoría de sus acreedores. El pasado 26 de Noviembre de 2021, el Juzgado en lo Comercial 26 de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires resolvió homologar el acuerdo de pago a sus acreedores presentado por Avian Líneas Aéreas en el marco de su concurso preventivo. En cuestión judicial, la Justicia homologó el concurso y lo dio por concluido. De esta manera, la aerolínea logró el acuerdo con el 52,5% de los acreedores, que representan un 76,53% del capital adeudado, por un pasivo de AR$ 1587,45 millones. Además, les había ofrecido dos opciones: una quita de 30% y el pago en un plazo a cuatro años o una quita de 50%, con pago a tres años.
Restableciendo operaciones
De esta manera, la aerolínea regional argentina estará en condiciones de volver a despegar, algo que demandaría, como mínimo, seis meses, según expresaron fuentes del sector. Primero, deberá volver a revalidar su permiso como explotador de transporte aéreo y capacitar a sus pilotos, que llevan más de dos años sin volar, al igual que a los técnicos y resto del personal. Para ello, debe acceder a créditos internacionales, que le servirán no sólo para pagar el acuerdo, sino también para las capacitaciones y diversos trámites previos al despegue.
Avian Líneas Aéreas cuenta con un proyecto presentado en el Concurso de Acreedores, que implica convertirse en aportadora y distribuidora de tráfico a grandes aviones, en vuelos de corta distancia, siendo complementaria a grandes compañías, como Aerolíneas Argentinas. Para ello debe acceder a créditos internacionales, que le servirán no sólo para pagar el acuerdo, sino también para capacitación y diversos trámites previos al despegue. Avian cuenta con 120 empleados, que no están cobrando sus sueldos, pero forman parte de la plantilla.
Avian busca renegociar la deuda en la que Avions de Transport Regional Aircraft (ATR Aircraft) le reclama la titularidad de las dos aeronaves por falta de pago e inició en 2019 una demanda en Nueva York, que lleva dos años sin resolución. Si lo consigue, podrá contar con los aviones, que tiene en su poder, en el Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, a la hora de despegar. Para poder cubrir el costo de poner marcha una aeronave, los aviones de dimensiones medianas o mayores deben volar un mínimo de una hora y media; en cambio, con los ATR, Avian podría hacer tramos más cortos, sin competir con la aerolínea de bandera, distribuyendo pasajeros hacia y desde ciudades más pequeñas y cercanas.
