La aerolínea británica British Airways (BA) anunció este Lunes 22/08 que recortará más de 10.000 vuelos previstos entre Octubre 2022 y Marzo 2023, ante los persistentes problemas en el sector de la aviación para hacer frente al incremento de la demanda tras la pandemia de Coronavirus. «Ofreceremos a los afectados por cualquiera de estos cambios un vuelo alternativo con British Airways, otra aerolínea, o la opción de devolverles el dinero», expresó la compañía aérea británica.
La aerolínea indicó en un comunicado que la mayoría de cancelaciones se producirán en rutas en las que hay otros servicios programados en la misma jornada, y que el plan permitirá proteger destinos vacacionales clave en las semanas de recesos escolares en el Reino Unido.
