Estas son las aerolíneas más puntuales del mundo
La agencia Cirium ha elaborado el ranking de Aerolíneas más puntuales de 2022. Cirium, una consultora que se dedica a analizar datos de aviación, reveló cuáles fueron las aerolíneas y los aeropuertos más puntuales de 2022. El desempeño general a nivel mundial estuvo por debajo de años anteriores. La consultora explica que el motivo principal fue la escasez de personal tanto en líneas aéreas como en aeropuertos y gestión del tráfico aéreo, entre otras áreas. Esta situación ha generado demoras, cancelaciones, largas colas en aeropuertos y congestión del tráfico aéreo. Cirium considera que un vuelo es puntual cuando llega dentro de los 15 minutos del horario anunciado. Además, para que una aerolínea pueda calificar en esta categoría debe operar en tres regiones diferentes.

Azul Linhas Aéreas ha sido premiada en el primer puesto y es la primera vez que aparece en toda la categoría. La empresa brasileña operó 279.722 vuelos en todo el año 2022 y tuvo una puntualidad del 88,93%. El segundo puesto ha sido para All Nippon Airways con 162.370 vuelos en 2022, con un coeficiente de puntualidad del 88,61%. La tercera aerolínea más puntual del mundo fue Japan Airlines con 165.981 vuelos y una puntualidad del 88%. Detrás le siguen LATAM Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Avianca Airlines, Emirates Airline, United Airlines, Qatar Airways y American Airlines.
Aerolíneas más puntuales América Latina
El informe también hace un análisis por regiones. En América Latina, las principales empresas operaron a un 93% en comparación con los niveles previos a la pandemia y se espera que superen las cifras de tráfico de 2019 en 2023. Con 1.403.440 de vuelos analizados, siendo el 97.03% de todos los que hubo, las líneas aéreas más puntuales de la zona son:
- Azul Linhas Aéreas.
- SKY Airline. Tráfico de 27.161 vuelos con 88,74% de puntualidad.
- Copa Airlines. Tráfico de 104.083 vuelos con 88,02% de puntualidad.
- LATAM Airlines. Tráfico de 451.651 con 86,31% de puntualidad.
- Avianca Airlines. Tráfico de 144.525 con 83,48% de puntualidad.
- Aerolíneas Argentinas. Tráfico de 94.982 vuelos con 82,02% de puntualidad.
- Aeroméxico. Tráfico de 113.814 vuelos con 75,83% de puntualidad.
- Volaris Airlines. Tráfico de 187.502 con 71,61% de puntualidad.
Low cost con mayor puntualidad
Entre las low cost, las que resultaron más puntuales figuran: StarFlyer, Solaseed Air, Thai Air Asia, Azul, Sky Airline, Air Do, IndiGo, Iberia Express, Air Asia India, Vueling.
Aeropuertos más puntuales
El Aeropuerto Tokio/Haneda/HND ocupó el primer lugar con el 90,33 % de los vuelos saliendo a tiempo. El segundo fue el Aeropuerto Bengalaru/Kempegowda/BLR de India con el 84,08% de los vuelos despegando a horario. El tercer lugar es para el Aeropuerto Salt Lake City/SLC que tuvo un 84,08 % de puntualidad, el Aeropuerto Metropolitano Detroit/Wayne/DTW con 82,62 % y el Aeropuerto Filadelfia/PHL, 82,54 %, entre otros.
