Suspensiones operaciones aeropuertos en Perú
El paro nacional en la República del Perú continúa el Jueves 19/01 en varias regiones, con bloqueos de carreteras y marchas que afectan al 27% del país. Mientras tanto, en Lima se registra una gran movilización con demandas como el cierre del Congreso, la Asamblea Constituyente y la dimisión de la Presidenta Dina Boluarte. En este marco de caos, tres aeropuertos estuvieron a punto de ser tomados este jueves por manifestantes. Los aeropuertos peruanos de Arequipa, Cusco y Juliaca fueron epicentro de enfrentamientos entre manifestantes y efectivos policiales en el marco del paro nacional. La decisión del cierre temporal de las aeroestaciones de Arequipa y Cusco fueron preventivas, mientras que Juliaca está inoperativo por los enfrentamientos y el desorden social de público conocimiento.
En Arequipa, la segunda ciudad más poblada del país, cientos de protestantes trataron de ingresar a las instalaciones del Aeropuerto Alfredo Rodríguez Ballón, cuyas operaciones fueron suspendidas en la mañana de 19/01 como medida de prevención. Los manifestantes rompieron las vallas metálicas del perímetro del terminal aéreo, a lo que respondieron los agentes policiales con el lanzamiento de bombas lacrimógenas. El Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones informó del cierre “en salvaguarda de la integridad de la ciudadanía y la seguridad de las operaciones aeronáuticas”.
En el transcurso, el Gobierno del Perú suspendió también las operaciones del Aeropuerto Internacional Alejandro Velasco Astete de Cusco, la puerta de entrada a Machu Picchu, donde los manifestantes intentaron orquestaron un ataque con piedras a las fuerzas del orden.
El tercer incidente en lo que va de la jornada se registró en el Aeropuerto Inca Manco Cápac de Juliaca, en Puno, inoperativo desde hace unos días. Más del 30% del cerco perimétrico se encuentra afectado y al menos 15.000 pasajeros se han visto impedidos de viajar tras su cierre, lo que hace un total de 100 vuelos a la semana. Hace una semana, Aeropuertos Andinos del Perú había anunciado que la rehabilitación de este terminal aéreo, atacado también en Diciembre de 2022, demoraría al menos treinta días. Desde entonces, el panorama de bloqueos y enfrentamientos afecta a casi seiscientos vuelos y 150.000 pasajeros. Las repercusiones podrían llegar hasta Julio 2023, señalan expertos.
