The man behind the failed acquisition of Stobart Air in 2021 faces fraud charges. Jason Scales appeared in a Court on Man Island on January 19, 2023, for charges related to the failed public acquisition offer. In the center of the matter is an alleged loan to finance the acquisition, which according to the authorities never existed.
Jason Scales was initially accused at the beginning of 4Q2022 and appeared for the first time before a Douglas Court in early 2022. He currently faces an internment in a superior court.
