Contrato servicios hacia El Dorado, Hot Springs y Harrison

Southern Airways Express, aerolínea regional de Estados Unidos con sede en Palm Beach (FL), ha sido seleccionado para continuar como el proveedor de servicios aéreos esenciales a los aeropuertos de El Dorado, Hot Springs y Harrison. Southern Airways Express, United States Regional Airline based in Palm Beach (FL), has been selected to continue as the essential air service provider to El Dorado, Hot Springs and Harrison airports. Passengers will continue to enjoy commercial flights and back to Dallas and Memphis, courtesy of Southern Airways Express, LLC, since the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) selected Southern to provide Essential Air Service (EAS) for a four-year period that will expire on February 28, 2027. Southern will operate the Cessna Caravan C208, a nine passenger plane, to provide flights.

«All of us in Southern Airways are excited to start our sixth year of service to Hot Springs, El Dorado and Harrison. We appreciate the continuous confidence of the cities and the department (DOT)», wrote the president and CEO of Southern, Stan Little. The order provides a schedule change for Hot Springs, with two additional flights to DFW and two less to MEM. Little said Southern will begin working on the change of time on time for the implementation of March.

Southern and Boutique Air were the only ones who responded to a request for proposals from an EAS provider of the DOT on September 27, 2022. The DOT concluded that Southern’s proposal complied with the required selection criteria of the airline.
