Delta-LATAM Colombia amplían codeshare

LATAM Airlines Colombia amplía el acuerdo de código compartido con Delta Air Lines agregando una segunda ruta entre Colombia y Estados Unidos con los vuelos desde Bogotá a Orlando a partir del 1 de Julio de 2023 y siete frecuencias semanales. La nueva operación entre Bogotá y Orlando forma parte de los primeros anuncios tras la aprobación de su acuerdo de Joint Venture con Delta Air Lines. Con este nuevo destino de entrada a Estados Unidos desde Colombia, la compañía tiene una nueva vía para conectar con la red de destinos internos de Delta dentro del país americano.

“A pesar del contexto retador con el que inició este año, continuamos mejorando nuestra red internacional con la incorporación de una nueva ruta de suma importancia para los viajeros en el país. Por medio del Joint Venture con Delta, mejoraremos nuestra presencia en el mercado de Estados Unidos que continúa siendo uno de los destinos internacionales con mayor relevancia para el pasajero colombiano”, dijo Santiago Álvarez, Director Ejecutivo de LATAM Airlines Colombia.

La ruta Bogotá/BOG—Orlando/MCO ofrecerá una frecuencia diaria (1Frq/D) que será operado con aeronaves Airbus A320, con capacidad de transportar 174 pasajeros. “Con este acuerdo, impulsaremos nuestra presencia en el mercado norteamericano con el objetivo de convertirnos en la mejor opción para los pasajeros de esa región que deseen viajar a Colombia y los otros países de Sudamérica que forman parte del acuerdo”, expresó Santiago Álvarez.

La aprobación de Joint Venture en Diciembre 2022 entre Delta Air Lines y LATAM Airlines permitirá aumentar su presencia en Sudamérica, añadiendo 23.000 asientos semanales de ida y regreso.

LATAM Airlines Colombia expands the codeshare agreement with Delta Air Lines by adding a second route between Colombia and the United States with flights from Bogotá to Orlando from July 1, 2023 and seven weekly frequencies. The new operation between Bogotá and Orlando is part of the first ads after the approval of their Joint Venture agreement with Delta Air Lines. With this new entrance destination to the United States from Colombia, the company has a new way to connect with the Delta internal destinations network within the American country.

“Despite the challenging context that began this year, we continue to improve our international network with the incorporation of a new route of utmost importance for travelers in the country. Through the Joint Venture with Delta, we will improve our presence in the United States market that continues to be one of the most relevant international destinations for the Colombian passenger”, said Santiago Álvarez, Executive Director of LATAM Airlines Colombia.

The Bogotá/BOG—Orlando/MCO route will offer a daily frequency (1Frq/D) that will be operated with airbus A320 aircraft, with the ability to transport 174 passengers. «With this agreement, we will promote our presence in the North American market with the aim of becoming the best option for passengers in that region who wish to travel to Colombia and the other countries of South America that are part of the agreement», said Santiago Álvarez.

The approval of Joint Venture in December 2022 between Delta Air Lines and LATAM Airlines will increase its presence in South America, adding 23,000 weekly round and return seats.
