Avior Airlines incorpora el primer Airbus A340-300 a su flota aérea
Avior Airlines recibió en el Aeropuerto Internacional José Antonio Anzoátegui al nuevo Airbus A340-300, matrícula YV3292, que se une a su flota yreforzará la capacidad operativa de la aerolínea, mejorando la experiencia de vuelo de sus clientes y permitiendo ampliar su radio de acción operativo.
La nueva aeronave A340 es la primera que arriba a Venezuela con la que expandirá su capacidad de vuelo, expresó el presidente de Avior Airlines, José Sulbarán. Con respecto a las aeronaves adicionales tienen previstas su incorporación entre 2017 y 2018. Sulbarán informó que la empresa aérea ha invertido más de 150 millones de dólares en la adquisición de las aeronaves y de equipos técnicos.
“Estamos invirtiendo en mejoras sustanciales, ampliando nuestra flota, garantizando nuevas frecuencias y rutas, expandiendo los horizontes comerciales hacia destinos en América y Europa”, señaló el representante corporativo. Con la incorporación del A340, Avior Airlines tiene previsto aumentar la capacidad hacia el destino estrella de la aerolínea como es Miami, e incrementar la oferta actual de destinos.
Sulbarán detalló la configuración de la aeronave A340 de la empresa: es un avión fabricado por el consorcio europeo Airbus Group, cuenta con una capacidad para transportar 255 pasajeros: 8 en clase Ejecutiva Premium, 28 en Ejecutiva y 219 en clase Económica. Destacó que la aeronave posee una amplia capacidad de bodega que permite transportar mayor cantidad de equipaje, así como carga en general.
El Capitán Víctor Ruíz, Vicepresidente de Operaciones Internacionales, detalló que el A340-300 mide 63 metros de largo por 60 metros de ancho, y que la cola mide 17 metros de alto. Agregó que dispone de cuatro motores capaces de volar a 41.000 pies de altura y proporcionar al equipo una autonomía de vuelo de 14 horas.
