La aerolínea francesa Air Caraïbes comenzó sus vuelos a Cuba,permitiendo incrementar el arribo de turistas provenientes del país galo, posicionado entre los principales mercados emisores a la Isla con más de 165 mil 200 viajeros hasta la fecha.

Las frecuencias de la ruta París-La Habana serán los viernes y otra con escala en Santiago de Cuba los martes, mientras existirá una tercera frecuencia el sábado mediante un acuerdo de código compartido con Cubana de Aviación, precisó en declaraciones a la prensa Francois Bonnet, director comercial de la compañía europea.

La aerolínea transportará 355 pax en los Airbus A330, uniendo el vuelo inaugural que fue recibido este viernes 9 de diciembre por el tradicional saludo de agua, en la pista de la terminal T3 del Aeropuerto Internacional José Martí.

Francois Bonnet subrayó que en Europa hay una gran demanda para venir a vacacionar a Cuba, que es visitada por más de tres millones de turistas al año.

Dalila González García, subdirectora general de Mercadotecnia del Ministerio cubano de Turismo, comentó que esta nueva ruta es una excelente oportunidad para continuar acercando a la mayor de las Antillas a Francia, cuyos arribos crecen hasta la fecha un 35 % en comparación con el año anterior.

Resaltó que diversificar los mercados emisores es estratégico para el desarrollo de la llamada industria del ocio en el país, de ahí que la incorporación de Air Caraïbes sea de significativo interés. 

Air Caraïbes started flights to Cuba

The French airline Air Caraïbes began its flights to Cuba, increasing the arrival of tourists from the Gallic country, positioned among the main markets to the Island with more than 165 thousand 200 travelers to date.

Francois Bonnet stressed that in Europe there is a great demand to come to vacation to Cuba, which is visited by more than three million tourists a year.

Dalila González García, Deputy Director General of Marketing at the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, commented that this new route is an excellent opportunity to continue bringing the largest of the Antilles to France, whose arrivals to date grow 35% compared to the previous year .

He stressed that diversifying the issuing markets is strategic for the development of the so-called leisure industry in the country, hence the incorporation of Air Caraïbes is of significant interest. A\W
