El vuelo 4Q502 de la aerolínea afgana, Safi Airways, tuvo que ser evacuado al aterrizar en el aeropuerto de Kabul, luego de que uno de los neumáticos estallara durante la carrera de aterrizaje.
El Boeing 737-46J transportaba a 155 pasajeros en la ruta entre el Aeropuerto de Herat y Kabul. Al momento de frenar por completo en la pista 29, la tripulación desplegó los toboganes para comenzar la evacuación de todas las personas a bordo. Nadie resultó herido.
Los informes iniciales indican que uno de los neumáticos estalló cuando la aeronave tocó tierra a las 12:24 horas locales de este sábado 10 de diciembre. El departamento de seguridad de Safi Airways han comenzado las investigaciones, según revela la misma compañía a través de un comunicado.
Además, la aerolínea comentó que mantienen los estándares internacionales de seguridad, y que son la primera aerolínea afgana en operar de acuerdo a los requisitos de la Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aérea (EASA), y cumpliendo estrictamente la certificación realizada por IATA.

Afghan airline 4Q502 flight Safi Airways had to be evacuated when it landed at Kabul airport after one of the tires exploded during the landing run.
The Boeing 737-46J was carrying 155 passengers on the route between Herat Airport and Kabul. When fully stopping at runway 29, the crew deployed the slides to begin the evacuation of all the people on board. No one was injured.
Initial reports indicate that one of the tires exploded when the aircraft touched down at 12:24 local time on Saturday, December 10. The Safi Airways security department has begun investigations, the company said in a statement.
In addition, the airline commented that they maintain international safety standards, and are the first Afghan airline to operate in accordance with the requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and strictly comply with IATA certification. A\W
