 Los vuelos AA907 de American Airlines y el UA819 de United Airlines que iban a Ezeiza fueron desviados a Córdoba por razones meteorológicas

Los aviones salieron desde EE.UU. rumbo a Ezeiza pero la niebla los obligó a desviarse hacia la ciudad de Córdoba pero no pudieron seguir su rumbo por falta de personal y deberán esperar hasta este sábado.

Cientos de pasajeros que esperaban volver desde Estados Unidos a Buenos Aires esperan desde hace horas en el Aeropuerto Ingeniero Taravella, de Córdoba sin poder llegar a su destino.

Se trata del vuelo AA907 de American Airlines que salió de Miami y el vuelo de United Airlines UA819 proveniente de Houston. Ambos debían aterrizar en Ezeiza, pero fueron desviados a Córdoba por la densa niebla.

Según uno de los pasajeros del viaje de Miami, el piloto del Boeing 777 les transmitió que las autoridades aeronáuticas le informaron que el despegue estaba demorado porque hoy era feriado y no había empleados disponibles para realizar la carga necesaria de combustible.

Luego de al menos tres horas de espera y sin alternativas para que los aviones lleguen a Ezeiza, las autoridades migratorias de Pajas Blancas decidieron permitir el ingreso al país de los pasajeros.

No obstante, la situación continuaba confusa, entre otros aspectos, porque la empresa que provee los servicios en tierra, Intercargo, no tiene acuerdo con American Airlines, lo que impedía a los pasajeros poder retirar su equipaje. Por otro lado, el personal de pista comunicó que la tripulación se venció, por lo que no podrá volver a volar los aviones.

Sin embargo, Sergio Adrián Ressa, jefe de Aeropuerto, desmintió en Cadena 3 la información y explicó los motivos por los que la aeronave no continuó su viaje.

«Dos vuelos, uno de United y otro de American Airlines debieron aterrizar en Córdoba por una fuerte tormenta en Buenos Aires. United cargó combustible y se fue. Mientras que el de American Airlines se le venció la tripulación, es decir que no puede seguir vuelo hasta que la tripulación se recupere y pueda seguir viaje», explicó.

Consultado sobre el significado del vencimiento de la tripulación, Ressa señaló que «después de cierta cantidad de horas, la tripulación de vuelos internacionales se vence. Esto ya está legislado internacionalmente. La tripulación no puede continuar y tiene que cambiar, pero como American Airlines no tiene tripulación, ésta tiene que descansar y continuar mañana», dijo.
