BoA Airlines ha inaugurado su propio Centro de Entrenamiento

La aerolínea estatal Boliviana de Aviación (BOA) inauguró su propio centro de entrenamiento de aeronáutica civil en la ciudad central de Cochabamba, que demandó una inversión superior a los U$D 3 millones de dólares.

Durante el acto, la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) entregó a la empresa estatal el certificado correspondiente para el funcionamiento del centro.

«El centro de entrenamiento de aeronáutica civil permitirá formar a pilotos y tripulantes de cabina y permitirá hacer todas las capacitaciones anuales que se realizan en una línea aérea», destacó Ronaldo Casso, ejecutivo de la aerolínea.

La instalación tiene un moderno simulador en el cual los pilotos podrán entrenar para volar aeronaves en todas las condiciones meteorológicas y en situaciones de emergencias. El centro también cuenta con un avión real, el primero que tuvo la aerolínea y que ya está fuera de servicio, que fue adaptado por el equipo de mantenimiento de BOA para entrenar a la tripulación para actuar ante cualquier emergencia, destacó Casso.

BOA fue creada en 2007 e inició sus operaciones en 2009 con vuelos en La Paz, Cochabamba y Santa Cruz, las tres ciudades principales de Bolivia. La aerolínea estatal conecta actualmente a las nueve ciudades bolivianas y llega también a las localidades de Uyuni (suroeste), Chimoré (centro) y Yacuiba (sur). Además, tiene rutas a Argentina, Brasil, España, Estados Unidos y prevé inaugurar próximamente vuelos a Lima y a Punta Cana. La fuerza laboral está compuesta por 1.700 trabajadores con 21 aviones y realiza 120 vuelos diarios.

BoA Airlines has opened its own Training Center

The state airline Boliviana de Aviación (BOA) inaugurated its own civil aeronautics training center in the central city of Cochabamba, which demanded an investment of more than US $ 3 million dollars.

During the event, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) gave the state company the corresponding certificate for the operation of the center.

«The civil aeronautics training center will allow to train pilots and cabin crew and will allow to do all the annual trainings that are carried out in an airline,» said Ronaldo Casso, executive of the airline.

The facility has a modern simulator in which pilots can train to fly aircraft in all weather conditions and in emergency situations. The center also has a real airplane, the first one that had the airline and is already out of service, which was adapted by the BOA maintenance team to train the crew to act in any emergency, said Casso.

BOA was created in 2007 and began operations in 2009 with flights in La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, Bolivia’s three main cities. The state airline currently connects the nine Bolivian cities and also reaches the towns of Uyuni (southwest), Chimoré (center) and Yacuiba (south). It also has routes to Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and the United States, and plans to open flights to Lima and Punta Cana soon.
