El Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Muñoz Marín abrió operaciones comerciales este viernes desde las 07:00 hs

Aeropuerto Luis Muñoz Marín de Puerto Rico ha reiniciado sus operaciones aerocomerciales que solamente reallizan vuelos domésticos, incluyendo EEUU, en un itinerario que funcionará hasta las 17:00 hs para respetar el toque de queda puesto en vigor por el gobierno de Puerto Rico.

Agustín Arellano, presidente de Aerostar Holdings, sostuvo que en total se recibieron unos 10 vuelos en total, que fueron servidos por las aerolíneas American Airlines, con seis vuelos, cinco a Miami y uno a Filadelfia, JetBlue Airways operará dos a Nueva York, Delta Airlines sacará uno a Atlanta y Spirit que operará otro a Orlando.

Arellano pidió a los pasajeros que no tienen vuelos confirmados que no lleguen al aeropuerto porque allí no se están vendiendo boletos. Tanto las líneas aéreas como el propio personal de Aerostar han tenido problemas para llegar por lo que no se está atendiendo al público general.

En cuanto a los demás aeropuertos regionales de Puerto Rico, se indicó que Ceiba, Ponce e Isla Grande, están operacionales, pero aún no han reiniciado sus labores de vuelos. En cambio, Puertos todavía no tiene información sobre las condiciones del aeropuerto de Aguadilla. Sin embargo, dijo que hoy una comitiva estará inspeccionando el área para determinar su situación.
