El cese ha causado afectación a más de 38.000 pasajeros entre el miércoles día de inicio de huelga hasta hoy sábado. Las conversaciones entre las partes continuarán el día de hoy

La huelga de los pilotos de Avianca, que hacen parte de la Asociación Colombiana de Aviadores Civiles (Adac), continúa. Para hoy se espera que se prosiga con los diálogos en busca de concertar acuerdos para levantar el cese de actividades convocado por los trabajadores.

De acuerdo con reporte de la aerolínea, que corresponde al balance del jueves 21 de septiembre, 266 vuelos fueron operados, lo que equivale al 53 por ciento, mientras que otros 233 tuvieron que ser cancelados, es decir, el 47 por ciento. El informe también indica que 27.745 pasajeros fueron transportados, incluyendo los 5.432 viajeros que se reacomodaron. Este jueves, el total de pasajeros afectados fueron 20.104.

Esos datos indican que el número de afectados por la huelga subió entre un día y otro en 1.192, puesto que el miércoles esa cifra fue de 18.912 personas con problemas en sus itinerarios. Ese mismo día que comenzó el cese de actividades, según la compañía, de ese total fueron 14.678 personas las que no pudieron viajar, otras 4.234 fueron reacomodadas y 31.948 fueron movilizados por la compañía. En total, fueron 178 vuelos los que se cancelaron y 293 operados.

Por otro lado, a raíz de la coyuntura, LATAM Airlines Colombia ha recibido en promedio más de 2.500 pasajeros diarios adicionales. Asimismo, la aerolínea ha abierto cupos para que pasajeros de Avianca puedan ser reprogramados en vuelos de LATAM y ha restringido la sobreventa, permitida por la reglamentación colombiana, con el fin de garantizar que no se presenten inconvenientes en la operación.
