La nueva aerolínea low-cost Flybondi recibirá el primer Boeing 737-800

Flybondi recibirá pronto su primer Boeing 737-800 LV-HKS, msn 33821. La aeronave está realizando el trayecto desde: Seletar (Singapur), Hanoi (Vietnam), Osaka-Itami (Japón), Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Rusia), Anchorage (EEUU), Los Ángeles (EEUU), Liberia (Costa Rica) en Centroamérica, arribando a Lima, (Perú). Emprenderá el último vuelo desde Lima (Perú) a Córdoba (Argentina). [*¹]

Inicio operaciones
Con respecto a los HUB de operciones, inicialmente comenzará a volar desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Córdoba (SACO/COR) a destinos en Argentina. El CEO de Flybondi, Julian Cook, expresó que el primer vuelo inaugural será Córdoba—Mendoza, sumando el siguiente destino Córdoba—Iguazú.

Se espera que la compañía de ultra bajo costo complete y asegure su Certificado de Operador Aéreo (AOC) de la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) antes de una fecha tentativa en lanzamiento en Diciembre 2017.

Flybondi-El Palomar
Desde la compañía estánconfiados en poder iniciar las operaciones desde el Aeropuerto El Palomar, pero debido a varios reclamos medioambientales hay una presentación ante la Justicia para que dicho poder prohíba la concreción del aeropuerto. En el escrito se esgrimen una serie de perjuicios que traerá aparejada esa construcción: ruidos, riesgo para la salud, riesgo de accidentes fatales al aterrizaje o despegue y daños patrimoniales.

Aun así, desde el Gobierno de Argentina no se han pronunciado respecto al impacto medioambiental. El martes de la semana pasada en la inauguración oficial del Foro de la Asociación Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Transporte Aéreo, en Buenos Aires, el Ministro de Transporte, Guillermo Dietrich, ratificó la construcción de un aeropuerto para las low cost en la Base Aérea de El Palomar y adelantó que se realizará una inversión estatal. “Vamos a construir un aeropuerto low cost completamente nuevo”, dijo el ministro, para abastecer la demanda que se espera para los próximos cinco años.

Recordando que el Aeropuerto El Palomar tuvo una actividad de vuelos comerciales del 3 Noviembre al 1 Diciembre 2010 para las aerolíneas Andes Líneas Aéreas, BQB Líneas Aéreas, LADE, Pluna Líneas Aéreas y Sol Líneas Aéreas debido al cierre temporal del Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery. Se ha permitido observar que al igual que en muchas grandes urbes es necesario contar con más de un aeropuerto como alternativas, pero al mismo tiempo coordinar los estudios de factibilidad a futuro.

Start operations
