Gran Bretaña seguirá integrada en la política europea de aviación

Reino Unido continuará siendo miembro de pleno derecho de la Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aérea (EASA), según ha trascendido de las negociaciones entre este país y la Unión Europea como parte del proceso de separación conocido como Brexit.

Los pilotos de líneas aéreas británicos asociados en British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) han manifestado su satisfacción por la decisión que consideran lógica y razonable. BALPA considera que hay que ser cautos, pero es una postura admisible razón por la cual el Reino Unido podría reducir su tráfico aéreo más de un 40% por el Brexit. Persisten puntos oscuros según BALPA, en el sentido de que los conflictos europeos normalmente se tienen que dirimir ante la Corte Europea de Justicia, pero el Gobierno británico no desea que esta sea la última instancia para sus casos judiciales que pudieran tener relación con la seguridad aérea.

The United Kingdom will continue to be a full member of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), as it has transcended negotiations between this country and the European Union as part of the separation process known as Brexit.

British airline pilots associated with the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) have expressed their satisfaction with the decision they consider logical and reasonable. BALPA believes that we must be cautious, but it is an admissible position, which is why the United Kingdom could reduce its air traffic by more than 40% for Brexit. Dark points persist according to BALPA, in the sense that European conflicts normally have to be settled before the European Court of Justice, but the British Government does not want this to be the last instance for their court cases that could be related to aviation security.
