La aerolínea portuguesa Azores Airlines ha recibido su primer Airbus A321neo, recibido a través del especialista Air Lease

Azores Airlines (SATA) ha recibido el primero de seis Airbus A321NEO‘s. Con el nuevo avión, la aerolínea portuguesa quiere operar vuelos transatlánticos. Por el momento, todavía se están ejecutando con el A310 y el A330. El avión con matrícula CS-TSF es uno de los seis que adquiere la aerolínea a través del arrendador estadounidense Air Lease Corporation.

Azores Airlines presta servicios en el territorio insular portugués de las Azores y el transportista es propiedad del grupo de transporte aéreo SATA. Opera una flota de siete aviones totalmente Airbus, incluido A330-200 (1), A310-300 (3) y A320-200 (3).

Los cinco restantes Airbus A321NEO se entregerán a lo largo del período 2017-2021, que se alquilan de Air Lease Corporation. Esta nueva aeronave permitirá realizar las conexiones transatlánticas con la costa este de Estados Unidos, por lo que la flota de A310-300 se desprogramará de la aerolínea.
