Irán ha denunciado que EEUU intenta obstaculizar transacciones para compra de aeronaves a Airbus y Boeing

Un proyecto de ley, ratificado recientemente por el Congreso de EEUU busca supervisar esos contratos de compra y disuadir a las instituciones financieras de efectuar transacciones con la República Islámica de Irán y confiscar eventualmente los pagos iraníes por los aviones, según Fajrieh Kashan, Viceministro de Carreteras y Desarrollo Urbano de Irán.

El viceministro Asghar Fajrieh Kashan ha denunciado que Estados Unidos intenta obstaculizar la compra iraní de aviones a los fabricantes Airbus y Boeing, lo que supone una violación del acuerdo nuclear firmado en 2015. «Si este proyecto de ley finalmente es aprobado (por el Senado), las ventas de aviones de Boeing y Airbus (a Irán) afrontarían problemas que son una clara violación del acuerdo nuclear por parte de Estados Unidos», subrayó el viceministro.

La Administración de Donald Trump estaría analizando perjudicar estos contratos que comprende la prohibición de la venta de aviones comerciales a duras condiciones que impedirían la entrega de los aparatos o ralentizar la aprobación oficial de las operaciones, aún después de años de sanciones que se levantaron con el pacto nuclear.

Las aerolíneas en Irán

Las líneas aéreas iraníes como Iran Air, Iran Aseman Airlines, Mahan Air entre otras han firmado o exite la intención de firma de contratos millonarios de compra/arriendo de aeronaves para renovar las anticuadas flotas.

Fajrieh Kashan precisó que ese pacto, firmado en 2015 entre Irán y seis grandes potencias, estipula que EEUU emitiría las autorizaciones necesarias para la venta de aviones a Irán, así como de piezas de repuesto y servicios de posventa. «Las ventas de aviones se han abordado tan claramente en el JCPOA (nombre formal del acuerdo), que cualquier movimiento de EEUU en contra de eso sería una violación del pacto», afirmó.

El responsable iraní adelantó que su país presentará una queja ante la comisión que supervisa la implementación del JCPOA y que también ha previsto medidas para recuperar sus pagos a Boeing y Airbus, en caso de que surjan problemas con las entregas. La firma estadounidense anunció en diciembre del año pasado la venta a la aerolínea Iran Air de 80 aviones por unos 16.600 millones de dólares, y en abril confirmó otro principio de acuerdo para el suministro de 30 aviones a Aseman Airlines. El acuerdo con Airbus incluye la compra de un centenar de aviones, tres de los cuales ya han sido entregados, por un valor de unos 10.000 millones de dólares. Aunque Airbus es un fabricante europeo, las medidas de Washington le afectarían debido a los componentes estadounidenses de los aviones que produce.
